Another Poem - This time by Silversurfer - In A Dream
In a dream,
I walk along a stream;
The air sweet,
Grass beneath my feet.
The view, blue,
As I look to the sea.
I must screech
As I walk on the beach.
Such a delight
To be in sunlight,
And to hear
A bird call so clear.
Said a Voice,
These words it’s choice:
"This is the World,
Watch as it is unfurled.
We must strive
To make it
The best it can be;
Do not let darkness
Become reality!"
As I awoke
Came a rush to make me choke.
Had to think
Of a dream gone in a wink.
As I stood
I finally found the good.
Made up my mind
To see what I could find.
Through the door,
Just had to do more:
Keep the splendor
Of Nature’s unfrettered tender.
This is the World,
Watch as it is unfurled.
We must strive
To make it
The best it can be;
Do not let darkness
Become reality!
