The Great Pyramid And The Earths Axis |
By Gary Osborn
For those who have read my article 23.5 Degrees, here is an exclusive which reveals what the references to the angle of 23.5Âș â also 52Âș, 6.5Âș and 30Âș in various paintings and other sources â mostly from the 17th century â are leading us to. I have known this since 2002, and I received this information by first deciphering encoded information in the paintings of Nicolas Poussin (1594-1665) and other artists from the same period.
As many of us will know, the Great Pyramid sits on the 30th parallel â almost 30 degrees north from the equator. It is actually 29Âș 58â 51â N â being 2,125 metres short of exactly 30 degrees north latitude.

Below is a diagram of the Sun-Earth-Moon system and I have added the Great Pyramidâs location on the earth as indicated by the red arrow.

Figure 2: The Great Pyramidâs Location on the Earth (The distance between the Earth and Moon is not to scale) Diagram by Gary Osborn. Copyright © G Osborn. 2003. All Rights Reserved.
As we can see the Great Pyramid is almost 30 degrees north from the equatorial plane. But as the earth rotates on its tilted axis the Great Pyramid moves between 36.5 degrees from the north pole of the ecliptic and 53.5Âș from the ecliptic plane â to 60Âș from the north pole of the ecliptic and 6.5Âș from the ecliptic plane.
Now letâs rotate this diagram, mirror it and enlarge it so we can superimpose this diagram over the cross-sectioned plan of the Great Pyramid, looking towards the west and from the sunâs perspective as it rises in the east.

Figure 3: The Superimposition of both Diagrams Diagram by Gary Osborn. Copyright © G Osborn. 2003. All Rights Reserved.
Now we know why the Kingâs Chamber is offset from the apex by almost 6.5 degrees. Although the capstone is missing, nevertheless, the apex is pointing to the Great Pyramidâs location on the earth when it is at its closest point to the ecliptic plane during the earthâs daily rotation â and so THE GREAT PYRAMID OF GIZA IS POINTING TO ITSELF ON THE EARTH!
As we can see the two diagrams fit perfectly â confirmed by the location of the Great Pyramid on the earth and this reveals a fact about the Great Pyramid that we have all overlooked until now.
In more precise figures, the measurements of the Great Pyramid give 23.6 degrees for the inclination of the axis and 6.4 degrees for the distance between the Great Pyramid and the ecliptic plane.
I have enlarged the radius of the earth so that we can see the apex poking out from the surface of the earth and marking the location of the Great Pyramid â being 30Âș from the equator and 6.4Âș from the ecliptic plane.
Note also that the earth is slightly squashed at the poles â an oblate sphere, which is the true shape of the earth.
The pyramid really is a miniature model of the northern hemisphere of the earth â something which has already been acknowledged by many researchers. However, it must now be acknowledged that the GP is also a model of the whole earth in miniature as shown in these diagrams â not just the northern hemisphere â and contains detailed knowledge regarding the geophysical position of our planet.
As everything is centered on the Kingâs Chamber, which is offset from the centre, itâs the only way the radius of the earth can be fitted to the pyramid.
The way the shape and dimensions of the pyramid matches a simple diagram of the Sun-Earth-Moon dynamic cannot really be disputed or contested; itâs as âclear as day.â One would indeed be perplexed that no-one has stumbled onto this and ever since people have been examining the Great Pyramid â which now extends through many centuries.
One can try searching the Internet and try looking through some well-researched books on the subject, however one will find nothing that compares to this hidden design; which means that apart from the true initiates who have preserved and safeguarded this information since recorded history â no one â including the Egyptologists â are actually aware of this about the Great Pyramid â i.e., that symbolically, the ecliptic plane, the earthâs equator and polar-axis all intersect the Kingâs Chamber, and that when both a cross-sectioned diagram of the Great Pyramid and the Sun-Earth-Moon system are superimposed together, the apex of the Great Pyramid pokes up through the surface of the earth exactly at the same point where the Great Pyramid is located!
And if we need further confirmation, then we can also superimpose the Great Pyramid on the diagram of the Sun-Earth-Moon system shown earlier by making sure the cross formed from the ecliptic plane and the pole of the ecliptic intersect at the Kingâs Chamber â which of course was designed to be offset from the apex to receive it in relation to the position of the Great Pyramid on the earth â which wasnât built on the ecliptic plane, but in âminutes of arcâ, was built around 6Âș 25â from it.

Figure 4: Superimposing the Great Pyramid on the Diagram of the Tilted Earth Diagram by Gary Osborn. Copyright © G Osborn. 2003. All Rights Reserved.
Again, consulting the above diagrams, and noting where the Great Pyramid is on the earth, we find that the apex of the Pyramid is exactly in the same position while the equator goes through both the King and Queen Chambers and the South Pole goes through the south corner edge of the Pyramid.
As we can see, the most remarkable thing â and something that has not been picked up on by anyone (even those who have carefully measured its true location) is that the Great Pyramid is pointing to its own location on the earth!
I have created these diagrams to reveal a great secret: that the architecture of the Great Pyramid lines-up with the Sun-Earth-Moon system as illustrated in any text book, and that this is indeed a fact.
When all is said and done, the real meaning here is that THE KINGâS CHAMBER REPRESENTS THE CORE-CENTER OF THE EARTH â and for more reasons than one, as both the Kingâs Chamber and the location of the Great Pyramid in its design, acts as the central reference point for other locations on the earth.
We can see then why the Kingâs Chamber would be an important room in this structure, for as one climbs towards it from the entrance â going up through the ascending passage and then the Grand Gallery â one is making a symbolic journey to the center of the earth . . . the centre of reality and the centre of the collective consciousness.
Another Way of Looking at the Same Information
Several times I have seen the following diagram depicted in different ways in recent publications. These diagrams show us the location of the Great Pyramid on the earth 30 degrees from the equator. One of the publications that includes such a diagram is The Golden Thread of Time, (2001), by Crichton Miller. These diagrams often show the earth as upright â i.e., the earthâs axis and equator square. The ecliptic is shown inclined â even though it is generally accepted that it is the earth that is inclined from the ecliptic.
However, if the creators of these diagrams had chosen the opposite position, showing the Great Pyramid at 6.5Âș from the Ecliptic Plane, they would have perhaps made a major discovery about the Great Pyramid that many of us have overlooked until now.
I will recreate the diagram, adding some features and omitting others for clarity to show how close people have come to discovering this information.

Figure 5: Location of the Great Pyramid on the Earth Diagram by Gary Osborn. Copyright © G Osborn. 2003. All Rights Reserved.
The above shows the Great Pyramid at its furthest position from the Ecliptic Plane as the earth rotates anticlockwise on its axis â being 53.5Âș from the Ecliptic Plane and 36.5Âș from the Ecliptic Pole.
Again, the earth rotates anticlockwise on its axis. So if we were curious as to the position of the Great Pyramid when it is at its closest point to the Ecliptic Plane, all we have to do is place the Great Pyramid on the opposite side of this diagram to show the position of the Great Pyramid, and we note that it comes as close as 6.5 degrees from the Ecliptic Plane.

Letâs now rotate the Great Pyramid to the left, but not at just any angle. We rotate it to the left so that the base is at the same angle as the earthâs axis of 23.5 degrees and as we will see, this of course is significant in regard to our diagram of the upright earth.

Figure 7:The Great Pyramid Superimposed on the Diagram of the Earth Diagram by Gary Osborn. Copyright © G Osborn. 2003. All Rights Reserved.
Taking our cross-sectioned diagram of the Great Pyramid rotated at 23.5 degrees, we now place the centre of the Kingâs Chamber on the core-centre of the earth where the axis, equator and ecliptic plane all intersect. We note that the baseline is the same angle as the ecliptic pole, and we find two significant alignments associated with both the apex and the south-east-corner of the Great Pyramid.
Indeed, we find that the apex is spot on the location of the Great Pyramid on the earth and where it would be when it comes as close as 6.5 degrees from the Ecliptic Plane.
We find that the southeast corner point of the Great Pyramid aligns with the South Pole. We also find that the Ecliptic Plane runs through the centre of the Kingâs Chamber and that the Equator runs through the centre of both the Kingâs Chamber and the Queenâs Chamber.
(I have omitted the Grand Gallery and the Ascending and Descending passages â leaving just the King and Queenâs Chambers, so that we can see more clearly how the Equator line goes through both these important chambers â giving us one explanation as to why these two chambers are offset from each other almost diagonally.)
Are all these alignments a mere coincidence?

In my view, this is the information we find encoded in the Great Pyramid and is what the Great Pyramid was planned and constructed for . . . to convey information about the geophysics of the earth and for good reason.
Again we find that the Kingâs Chamber symbolically represents the core-centre of the earth, which would be significant for anyone lying down in its sarcophagus.
Symbolically, he or she would be at the centre of the earth and at the centre of our reality . . .
If we now turn the Great Pyramid upright, as shown earlier we can view the encoded information within the geometrical structure of the Great Pyramid along with the positions of its internal chambers, as it stands.

Figure 9:Three Points Diagram by Gary Osborn. Copyright © G Osborn. 2003. All Rights Reserved.
However, going back to our diagram of the earth being upright, more considerations present themselves and it would be reasonable to assume that it was intended that we view this encoded information this way too â i.e., superimposed over a drawing of an upright earth with inclined ecliptic plane.
We now know that although the capstone is missing from the structure, the apex represents the Great Pyramid and its location on the earth being 30Âș N of the equator and 6.5Âș from the ecliptic plane.
Well what about the other corners of the Pyramid? Do their positions contain some significance?

Figure 10:Three Points Diagram by Gary Osborn. Copyright © G Osborn. 2003. All Rights Reserved.
Well the south corner gives reference to the South Pole, which could indicate Antarctica as being significant. Some would possibly see the meaning of this straight away.
And if we then check what the angle would be if we draw a line from the centre of the Kingâs Chamber to the north corner, we find that it is 47 degrees.
With the Great Pyramid in this position, it could be interpreted that the angle of the north corner appears to be bringing attention to the Precessional cycle which has a radius of 47 degrees â 2 x 23.5 degrees. This interpretation is supported by the central position of the Ecliptic Pole in this diagram which aligns with the Ecliptic Centre in the heavens â the central point in this precessional circle traced by the tilted axis, and the point to which the celestial pole would be aligned if the earth were upright.
The axis traces this circle over a 25,920-year period.
So then, if we were meant to view the Great Pyramid in this way, it appears that this is what the Great Pyramid is bringing attention to â the geophysics of the earth and possibly after the catastrophe that upended the earth and destroyed an advanced civilisation in the resulting Great Flood.
Does the ancient civilisation of Atlantis lie under the Antarctic at the South Pole?
Is this what the south corner of the Great Pyramid in this diagram is pointing to? These are questions that will perhaps never be answered, but what we see here is intriguing all the same.
Furthermore, the Platonic or mythical number of 25,920 years for the duration of the precessional cycle is even encoded in the sloping angle of the sides of the Great Pyramid. In âminutes of arcâ the sides are angled at 51Âș 50â 40â â roughly 51Âș 51â.
In degrees this translates as 51.844444Âș â but here I will use the all-round figure of 51.84Âș.
Is it a coincidence that if we halve the number of 5184 we get 2592?
This is close enough to the precessional âGreat Yearâ of 25,920 years, and suggests âintentâ on behalf of the architects. Another way of looking at it is, 2 x 25,920 = 51,840 â exactly the degree angle of the sides â 51.84Âș and again we note that this number gives us the duration of âtwo precessional cyclesâ based on the Platonic number, consisting of 51,840 years.
So, if this is interpretation is correct, why a reference to two precessional cycles?
And what is the real purpose of the Wall Niche in the Queenâs Chamber?
