The Book of THoTH will shortly be announcing the winners of the competition held last year. The competition allowed previously unpublished writers a chance to get their work featured in a forthcoming new book entitled "The Book of THoTH - Wisdom of the Ages".
The response to the competition has been overwhelming, and the judges have had no easy task choosing which articles should appear in the new book, out of so many.
It was originally anticipated that the book would feature approximately twenty articles, but after receiving so many great entries, it was decided that the amount of articles would be increased to fifty! This would give even more chance for people to see their work in print in bookshops and libraries worldwide. Potentially becoming a stepping stone for future work by these budding authors.
Make no mistake, this isn't a disparate collection of articles bundled in electronic format, and then distributed to "members only" as a cheap way of increasing site membership,this is to be a book to be distributed worldwide which will reach thousands, if not millions of potential readers, and many of whom aren't aware of the quality of this material and some of whom who have no access to the internet. Arrangements have been made to have the book translated into a variety of languages too, to reach even more.
The subjects covered in the book, echo those discussed and researched at The Book of THoTH website, indeed many of the entries submitted come from members of this site, which has become THE meeting place for many great minds to share their views and findings with each other, learning and having fun in the process.
This book will become an annual release, each year more people are invited to come forward and share their views with the potential to be published. Many websites and paranormal magazines have been behind supporting and promoting this endeavour, and whom continue to work with and support The Book of THoTH. These are :
Warren Croyle, CEO of Reality Entertainment is the person who will make this happen. Croyle has been a reader of The Book of THoTH for many years, and has said that "this site represents the best of the Internet, it's combination of quality resources and detailed discussion put it at the forefront of websites relating to these controversial subjects" . International best selling author Philip Gardiner also made this happen, by proposing the plan to Mr Croyle, wanting to help potential authors struggling to get published in the process.
The owner of The Book of THoTH website, Michael Bourne stated that "this is just the beginning, there are several high profile projects underway, which in addition to the book, will bring an even greater awareness of these subjects to the public through the medium of DVD, Radio and TV".
It is anticipated that the results will be announced within the next week, and as already stated there will now be fifty winners instead of 20, giving more people the opportunity to get their voices heard globally.
