My original title for this paper was "Yeshe Tsogyal: Alchemical Bliss Queen". Tsogyal was Guru Padmasambhava's first disciple and with him, spread Buddhism throughout Tibet. The sacred text biography of Tsogyal, "Lady of the Lotus Born" is filled with obviously alchemical symbology. This paper explores one part of the story and compares it with Western alchemical ideas.
