Ghosts / Hauntings Articles

1: Spirits of the Alamo
To many people, The Alamo is just the subject of movies or the object of legend. To others, it is a shrine and a place of reverence where, in 1836, over 180 men fought and died in an effort to gain independence from a then dictatorial Mexico. To some, it is thought to be an otherworldly home. Located in the middle of downtown San Antonio, the Alamo has been the subject of many a haunt since the battle that took place there. The death, carnage, and high emotions that once shrouded the place are said to be contributing factors for making this one of the most haunted sites in Texas, helping to make San Antonio one of the most haunted cities in the state.
