I think Keith Olbermann really explains the death of Habeas Corpus, put over upon us by the current administration, better than anyone else I've seen. Most people don't seem to understand the importance of the law that was signed by the President on the 17th. Watch how it's explained that by signing this one simple bill into law, 9 out of 10 items in the Bill of Rights are now gone.
And then a commentary on what it all means and how it happened.
I highly recommend telling everyone you know about exactly what's happened here in the US. Somehow, most people don't seem to have caught on yet.

Oddthings - I would like to share these two with some friends who do not have internet access, however it looks like youtube/google only have these in .flv format and I can't convert to .wmv or any other format that I could burn to a cd. Do you have this capibility? If so, could you convert them and give us a link for download?? :-)(
I think ALL Americans should see these! But then I'll probably be one of those arrested as being a threat to Bush's America!

That sure is a moving speech he gives where he crosses out the Amendments one by one (except the third) and then flings the document over his shoulder and says Bush will have a signing statement if the 3rd Amendment ever gets invoked.
You're right, more people need to see this and to understand what's happening.
It sure is. Last night he had Barack Obama on and he immediately praised Olbermann for that segment.
