I just noticed that The Anomalist linked to a more permanent location for an interesting ghost video caught in the basilica at the Vatican.
This video was actually filmed by Book of THoTH member Pandora's friend's brother while on vacation. She's seen the original video and thinks it's real. Having seen the on-line footage of what seems to be a robed figure floating across the room a couple of times myself, I can't figure out what it could be other than the paranormal. Check it out and tell me what you think.

That is very interesting. The skeptic in me at first thought it could be staged, maybe someone holding up a small doll at the end of some fishwire and suspending it via a stick or something. The movement of it seemed to back that up, as it looks a bit like it's swinging. But then I saw the apparition was casting a shadow on the wall closest to it, and figured that wasn't the case.
Not to mention folks would be looking strangely at anyone holding a get up like that in the basilica. :o)
Hehe, I think they'd probably boot you out for that. ;-) Pandora knows the folks, too, and doesn't think it's a hoax of any kind. They certainly haven't tried to sell the footage, or anything like that. Quite the contrary, after the news show they were getting so many calls that they just went ahead and quit answering the phone for a while. She couldn't even get through to them.
I'd never heard of ghost sightings there before I saw this video, but after asking around a bit, I guess there have been quite a few...of course in the Vatican they call them "angel" sightings, but same difference I imagine.
I know Pandora's been a bit under the weather lately, but last I heard she was trying to get the full footage and put it up at BoT for everyone to check out. I'll definitely be posting it here if she gets it.

That's why I chose to put it here. I wouldn't want to get booted from the boards, especially considering that would be my first ever post. ;o)
I thought of that only because I saw someone *possibly* debunk the ghost in the parking lot video that came out a while back, using just that sort of rig. I had to admit it seemed more than likely.
Of course, since the boys are known by folks on the board, that lends this whole thing a lot more creedence.

I think this is one of the better "ghost" videos I've seen, but I'd really like to see the entire footage, without having it filmed on a TV screen for 10 seconds only. I think that'd lend more credibility to the story.
