Over at Mac Tonnies' blog I saw a link to an article that shows exactly where Fox News and many in the republican party stand on environmentalism and global warming. I think the way to put it would be "Let God handle it." Honestly...
James Inhofe, the outgoing Chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, told Fox News in an interview(with the tag line "Is Global Warming a Hoax? below him) that we shouldn't worry about global warming because, "God's still up there." I can't even begin to put into words how I feel about that, so I'll just let you read the article here.

Reminds of that guy who was caught in a flood, a man in a boat came up to him asked if he needed help, the guy replied "no god will save me" a little while later a rescue team in a helicopter came to help him. They tried and tried but all the man would say is "god will save me". Well the guy died, he asked god "why didn't you save me?" god replied "dude I sent you a man in a boat and a rescue team in a helicopter".
Love that joke thingy.
As for global warming, well we as humans are not going to be around forever and when we are gone who or what is going to miss us. The universe will continue on it's merry way while we are "up there" asking god "why didn't you save us?"
Haha, I always love that joke Rand.
It's true, the universe will continue on without us if we're dumb enough to make ourselves extinct. I guess maybe it's for the best seeing what we do to the planet...
Don't know how to feel?
I'll help you with that.
Worried.
That joke was funny Rand. I have to remember that. In anycase, we all know what the Kyoto agreement called for and why it had a hard time. It was big business who had a hand on this matter. In the end it came down to money as it always does. Power and money are the greatest threat to man...well maybe thats a bit drastic but its certainly ranks up there on my top 10 list. :)
