Mac Tonnies has added another interesting cryptoterrestrial post to the on-going sharing of his thought process.

The entire list is up to 13 posts by my count at this point.

Mac Tonnies over at Posthuman Blues has updated with a couple of more posts which I'm adding to the list I've been keeping on his cryptoterrestrial hypothesis posts.

Also over at his site I ran across this little quiz, which I thought was pretty good.

I am:
Hal Clement (Harry C. Stubbs)
A quiet and underrated master of "hard science" fiction who, among other things, foresaw integrated circuits back in the 1940s.

Which science fiction writer are you?

Mac Tonnies has another new post which is, in part, on the crypto terrestrial hypothesis. This one deals with the possibilities of a "hive" mind or intelligence.

For the entire list I've been compiling of his posts on the subject just click here.

I've decided that I'm going to keep updating my original post on Mac Tonnies' CTH posts as he posts more on his site. I'll post a little reminder like this, with a link, from time to time. Since the original post there's been three new posts.

Also, Mac's going to be on the Paracast tomorrow, the 31st.

Be sure to also check out The Orange Orb's recent musings on the subject here and here.

For anyone who's been trying to keep up with Mac Tonnies' recent flood of posts on the "cryptoterrestrial hypothesis" or, simply CTH, I decided to put together a list of links to scroll through to make it a little easier to find them at this point. These posts make up what I assume will be the backbone of his upcoming book, which should be a very thought provoking read.

While I am not 100% sold on the theory, as I've said before it's an extremely intriguing, interesting idea that's honestly a lot of fun to mull through the possibilities, and outcomes of. There is, simply put, no single theory out there that can adequately explain the entire phenomenon. So, enjoy a little "outside of the box" thinking on this one.

Here's a great clip from Mac Tonnies, being interviewed by Paul Kimball for the upcoming Best Evidence: Top 10 UFO Cases, on the cryptoterrestrial hypothesis. It's very well explained by Mac, and really quite plausible if you take into account many cases and take into account folk lore and mythology.

While there are, of course, many difficult questions that need to be explored, I think there are in any explanation of the phenomenon. It does seem to answer many questions that other explanations don't, so I think it makes for a really wonderful thought experiment. His upcoming book the subject is going to be an excellent read, I believe.

If you haven't been keeping up with Mac's blog lately and his musings on his cryptoterrestrial hypothesis go take a look and scroll through the last week or so. It's certainly compelling and worth reading.
