Day 1: Depart the U.S. from New York. (Flights from other places in the U.S. available. Please inquire.)
Day 2: Arrival into Paris, and check into your hotel.
Day 3: Welcome and orientation. Seminar and meeting today.
Day 4: Enjoy a walking tour of historical old Paris, the "City of Lights," a city that was meant to be experienced on foot. Included in this easy paced walk are some of Paris? most famous landmarks. Visit The Place de la Concorde with its stunning obelisk from the entrance of the ancient Egyptian Temple at Luxor. Brought to Paris in the early 1800s one can still see the mystical hieroglyphs on the obelisk with their secret messages of potent power. Walk by the Louvre, and then experience Le Jardin des Tuileries laid out in a classic French style that offers a view of many major buildings and squares, built during the Louis XIV era. The garden?s sculptures are extremely varied with contributions from Marly, Van Cleve, Coustou, and Le Paultre. The spacious formal garden plan draws out the perspective from the reflecting pools one to the other in an unbroken vista.
Continuing on along the Left Bank pass through the St. Germain-des-Prés area. Visit
Saint?Germain?des?Prés Church, the oldest church in Paris and the original burial place of the Merovingian kings who figure so prominently in the Grail mystery. Continue through the famous Bohemian Latin Quarter with its wonderful cafes, boutiques, and historical buildings.
Also today, enjoy a wonderful riverboat cruise on the River Seine. Highlights include viewing the Eiffel Tower, Orsay Museum, the historical bridges of Paris, including the "Pont-Neuf" and beautiful buildings in the neo-classical style.
Day 5: Meeting and seminar time all day today. Free time in the evening.
Day 6: (Today is October the 13th.) Enjoy a special "metaphysical" walking tour with Philip Gardiner, including the Glass Pyramid, the Rose Line Meridian and the Arago Markers in the courtyard of the Louvre.
End up at the magnificent Gothic cathedral of Notre Dame, the most famous church in Paris. Note the symbolism found there. Almost all churches, cathedrals and great stone monuments have been built by Stone Masons, incorporating many of the ancient secrets of the Freemasons!
An Invitation from Philip Gardiner: "Walk through the historical streets of Paris and visit some of the most mysterious and mystical buildings in France. Across time mankind developed a wonderful and mystical connection to the divine for which he has given many names. Today we know this connection as Gnosis - the knowledge of the divine within the self. In biblical times this was fostered by the Essene - the writers of many biblical texts and the protectors of sacred scripts. I will reveal through my own investigations the secret link between the Essene and earlier Egyptian and even Indian brothers right through early Christianity and Gnosticism, into alchemy and emerging once again in the works of Carl Jung and later researchers, specifically the Freemasons. This thread across time will reveal the truth behind a great many mysteries including the Ark, the Shroud, Jesus and Mary, the Temple of Solomon and much more. From the Glass Pyramid to Notre Dame, we will trace the physical presence of these mysteries of mankind."
Learn about the sacred Shroud; the Ark; Mary and their connections to the ancient Brotherhoods...
Note: Meeting will take place on 3, 5, and 7 of the travel program. Exact times to be announced on site.
Later today meet at Nicholas Flamel?s 14th century home, which is now a restaurant, for a wonderful group lunch. (Due to the size and nature of the restaurant, some of the group may have their group meal at another time.)
Nicholas Flamel was an alchemist who lived in the 14th century. He is alleged to have been the most accomplished of the European alchemists. Flamel is said to have purchased a mysterious book of 21 pages, which was filled with encoded alchemical symbols and arcane writing, including some texts in Hebrew. A book published in Paris in 1612 on the subject of Egyptian hieroglyphics claimed to be a copy of a Flamel book, in which Flamel's search for the Philosopher's Stone was described. According to it, Flamel made it his life's work to understand the text of the mysterious 21-page book he had purchased, and around 1378, he traveled to Spain for assistance with translation. On the way back, he reported that he met a sage, who identified Flamel's book as being a copy of the original "Book of Abraham." According to the story, over the next few years, with this knowledge Flamel and his wife allegedly decoded enough of the book to successfully replicate its recipe for the Philosopher's Stone, producing first silver in 1382, and then gold.
Later today, proceed to the site chosen for the special gathering for the commemoration of the 700th anniversary of the closing of the Templar temples throughout France.
Day 7: Final meeting day. Free time for exploring more of wonderful Paris, including strolling through its beautiful gardens, going to the top of the Eiffel Tower, or finishing up on some last minute delectable shopping!
Day 8: Those not able to stay for the exciting optional extension tour to Southern France, including Holy Grail sites, Rennes-le-Château, and Cathar Castles, depart for your return flight to the U.S. arriving the same day.
