2012 and a Message for Mankind

In 2012 so we are told there will be a change. To some this is the massive solar flames licking the earth like a giant dog. To others the world as we know it will end and a new era of awakening will occur. To others still it is scare mongering yet again - an act that has haunted the mind of humanity for millennia, from within the very mind of man. Mankind has spent thousands of years manifesting the inward sight into the outward world. He has built great structures from his imagination. He has formed nations from desire and crucified himself to save his soul. But what are we doing with this latest millennium bug or black death? Have we really read the Mayan prophecies correctly, or in 2013 when nothing has happened, save for a flawed London Olympics and a few possible space explorations, will we simply re-code the whole thing and start it up again? I don't know, do you?
I have no idea whether the Mayan culture could have read the sun spots with holes in leafs like camera-obscura and predicted this time of change, if indeed there is one, but all times change. Each generation has seen good and bad, up and down, great discoveries and horrendous disasters. By worrying we add to the collective mindset of worry; by not caring we fall into an age old trap whereby we end up not caring about anything - our minds seem pre-ordained to spiral. Unless.... unless we continue.. just that, continue.
Man has been on this planet for a long time, and before that others were here and they also had imagination, religion, faith and watched for cycles. Neanderthal man 80,000 years ago was religious to a degree. He wasn't an alien, he was an inhabitant of earth, earth born and earth caring. I bet he too worried and predicted.
A lesson? Be balanced, be loving, whatever the truth, continue.
These age-old truths are found in the texts and symbols of our ancestors, who had time to think, not race and chase with a mobile phone glued to their space-age head like some extra from a Doctor Who show. Time to think, time to continue. Wisdom within, the Divine within, no need of others, or scares or fear trips, just contemplative intuitive connection to the whole - to nature. These sacred truths are at the centre of my new book and DVD, The Ark, The Shroud and Mary, and they form the central thread throughout time - the essence, the baraka. The kind of wisdom that teaches us to know ourselves, to trust our intuitive state, to be balanced and to accept responsibility for our thoughts and deeds, is the kind of wisdom I turn to, not prophecies that I cannot do anything about.
