Hi Freddy,

It's an interesting question. I've had to think about this. My first experiences were what I thought was a poltergeist..... and that being my introduction to researching the paranormal. 10 yr later, I, along w/my dogs, found what is described as a 'grey' in the back yard. (many miles away in a different state) Ever since then I've wondered if the incidents are related. I frequently smelled what I thought was a burning match near me when there was no reason for it. I never considered anything of an 'alien' or 'ET' nature w/the poltergeist-like situations until 10 yr. later........... and my encounter.

and that right there is reason enough to dismiss them I suppose Rolling Eyes ...now don't get me wrong I have my own reasons to disavowal orbs, but citing pop culture cultivated ghost-hunters as any sort of authority on the subject is hardly a convincing argument (imho) ....
