I would agree that nearly all Christian rights ,rituals and symbols have there basis firmly tied in with Egyptian relgion
is'nt that why every Chirstian country in the world displays Obolisks and other Eygptian symbols , evan the centre of the Vatican square has a Obolisk that they stole out of Egypt and put a small cross on top to disguse it as a Christian Monument.
I also think as Firey28 does that religon in all its forms is a way to control the masses.

Wisdom frequently masquerades as the Fool.

To know the importance of Crowley's work and what it means you need to "solve" his Tarot.
Any opinion of the man that lacks this knowledge is lost in a maze of blind alleys and superstitions - ones he placed there on purpose.
That's his joke on all of us: If you don't get his Gnosis you're under his spell of Lies.

Even so, once you get the punchline you can hear him laughing still.

Charting Rosicrucian Europe

Charting Rosicrucian Europe

A profound and beautiful spiritual movement arose in Central Europe in the early 17th century. How far did its influence reach and what became of it after the destruction of the Thirty Years War?

Quote:
My goal is to link the subject of Rosicrucianism first with the theme of the Quest, the pursuit of some vision or ideal; second with the theme of the Initiatory Journey or pilgrimage, the journey of spiritual discovery; and third with the theme of special places, places that are charged with spiritual or magical power.

Now all of these themes are present in Rosicrucianism. We are following in the footsteps of some famous Rosicrucians of the past, and we are visiting places that have a special link with the Rosicrucian story. I think it might be interesting to locate the journey that we are making within what we might call the Rosicrucian map of Europe, and also look at some of the other places in Europe that have a link with the Rosicrucian story.

strangly a few days earlier I had dreams that led me to sites on the tablets you speak of and of the idea of Antarctica being the lost continent of atlantis... I have been hit with so many strange dreams the last few days that I have spent long nights sketching and googling all sorts of things I had never read about before....

like the Anunnaki I found an online scanned book that is very interesting too... while I was looking for who Ishtar was after I drempt about her...

Interesting thoughts, I also believe in the unending being thing, though even illusions have a purpose, I focus on the individuality part, I change myself and things around me change- or at least I have control over that part of something. I have been through changes like you, though after I was not a christian any more, I have a shamanistic philosophy, I would also say I probably don't fit into any religion either though Taoism is interesting to me right now. The label is just a descriptive word, you can have a lot of words, I doubt any one word defines the entirety of you, I wouldn't worry about it language is imperfect. Just keep looking inside, all the answers are there, sometimes it just takes a while to find it, let your conflict/resistance from/with the outside world guide you where to look inside.

The Coming of Elias Artist (Elijah)

The Coming of Elias Artist
(Part I - Awakening Pansophia Hermaphrodite, Spiritus Mundi)

As the ordered world of the High Middle Ages decayed, bringing forth the seeds of Reform and Revolution, a new sense of Prophecy emerged also. From the early expressions of Joachim de Flore, in Calabria (land of exile of the Thebaid therapeutic tradition) under the first Hermetick Emperor Frederick, “Stupor Mundi” of Hohenstaufen, to the publication of the Rosicrucian Manifestos as Europe was gearing up for the Apocalypse of the Thirty Years’ War, this prophetical corpus centred around the figure of the “Elias Artist”, a reflection of the Old Testament and Apocryphal figure of Elijah, the victorious magician ; as expressed, for example, by Sir Thomas Browne in "Religio Medici", XLVI : "How can we interpret the 6000 years of Elijah?"
