What are fingerprints for?

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this..." is a sentence I have seen a hundred times or more, but now it is MY turn. The subject of fingerprints has always fascinated me. I am particularly interested in the much vaunted hypothesis that all, each and every one of human fingerprints are, and is, unique. Very well. So, what about the fingerprints that are found in the clay of early pottery which have been made thousands of years ago? What about the fingerprints on Egyptian mummies? So many people's fingerprints...all of them unique? Now, I wonder if anyone can help me here: some time ago I heard and saw on a video documentary about fingerprints, an interview with an american police fingerprint specialist in which he stated that of all the fingerprint files the police holds, all are quite unique excepting the cases of a repetition of fingerprints which involve those where the identical copy of any two sets is of one from a living person and the other from a deceased individual. I really would like to track down any material which refers to such a statement as I cannot remember its exact origin. The policeman concerned seemed to infer that fingerprints of a living person match only identical prints of a person deceased. Could this have something to do with possible evidence of re-incarnation? Well, this a a subject which could be discussed on a number of different forums. That is why I said that I was not sure about where to place this posting. Quite apart from the discussion which may arise about fingerprints, could any reader of this posting (especially police personel), please let me know if they have ever heard of a repetition of fingerprints and if so, in what circumstances? Here, now is this interesting article which, though it does not venture into such deep water, offers food for thought.

No answers from me on that one, only that it makes sense that if one is sungazing for the intended purpose of bringing energy in to the self, one's aura would show that it's working.

Intuition: Delusion or Perception?

Quote:
Toward a Scientific Explanation of the Akashic Experience

The intuitions reported by mystics, poets, artists, ordinary people, even scientists, often go beyond the range of sensory perception. In the reductionist culture inspired by classical science, they are dismissed as mere delusion – classical empiricism claims that there is nothing in the mind that was not first in the eye. However, the classical tenet is not universally upheld. It is exceptional in the annals of history, and even in the context of contemporary cultures.

In history intuitions were embedded in the conceptual framework through which a given culture interpreted the nature of reality. In indigenous societies shamans and medicine-men (and women) tuned themselves to spontaneous apprehension through rigorous initiation and training; they derived their mystical vision from them. In mythically oriented societies the world was seen as a cosmic realm of spirits, and in classical cultures it was believed to be governed by a panoply of unseen gods. The Abrahamic monotheistic religions recognised the intuitions of their prophets as conveying fundamental truths about God and the nature of His creation. Eastern cultures have always held that reality extends far beyond the domain of the senses.

What is this? Orange/blue aura

Then you may also like to explore Synesthesia and Supposed psychic powers that enable people to see auras around others may simply be a quirk of the brain, according to a University College London (UCL) study of a rare form of synaesthesia where some people see colourful ‘auras’ around their loved ones.

If it is OK , as I can't find the thread I thought I started here... It is necessary to say that in the West, especially in USA, a sort of "synesthetic boom" is observed nowadays. The monographies are published, Ph.D. theses are defended, conferences are being held, new synesthetic web sites appear. Almost all of them stress the unique, unusual and rather abnormal nature of the phenomenon, strange yet useful one. That is the manifestation of certain common prejudice. An old mistakes, that had been overcome long ago by European and Soviet science, are rising again! Unfortunately, our prominent academician A.Lurie has made his own contribution to this kind of "reductionism". (His well-known book on "synesthete" Shereshovski has become a Bible for modern researchers who study synesthesia as brain abnormality). Regarding very rare cases of abnormal "co-sensations", which were the symphtoms of either "cerebral arteriosclerosis" or "pregnancy", he mentioned in the same line the "color hearing" of Scriabin and other composers [1]. Maybe he could be pardoned in thinking so, taking into account his profession. But the philosophers sometimes fall into the same error as well.

It appears that the Russians have studied this for quite some time.. and we are only in it's infancy of exploring this phenomena......

another area that is interesting is.......
History of Synesthesia and Synesthesia and the Philosophical Debate on Consciousness

and then explorations of crediting synesthesia with the evolution of language....

Now what we found next was even more amazing. Take the same two synesthetes. Instead of showing them Arabic numbers- actually I should call them Indian numbers but it doesn't matter - Indian/Arabic numbers, you show them Roman numbers, Roman V which looks like a V or a 6. Guess what happens? They say oh I know it's a five but it doesn't look coloured, it's black and white so Roman numbers don't give colours. Now what does that prove? It's very important because it shows it's not the numerical concept that drives the colour but the visual appearance of the Indian/Arabic number and it fits with what I'm saying because the fusiform gyrus represents the visual appearance of numbers and letters and things like that, not the abstract concept of sequence or ordinality. and...

The trends and universals of synaesthetic metaphors are built and evolve in the same manner as for other metaphors, through linguistic and cultural processes; The next step in investigation is to look at synaesthetic metaphors in other languages and cultures: uniformity in patterns across languages might indicate a more biological basis, while divergence would indicate the degree to which low-level, random synaesthesia is mediated by culture. Research is currently underway in Irish and Japanese.

The Subconscious

I think it all boils down to cultivating intuition for that is where you form your base in other areas with regards to obtaining access to buried psychic abilities…. Intuition is an innate ability we all have and a significant but unclaimed part of many of our lives. Most of us persistently receive its messages but decide to take no notice of them and when this happens it speaks to us a lesser amount of the time.

Feelings from intuition are never forceful or thunderous (except in times of extreme danger) so we must become skilled at listening to it carefully again. It is our bond with an infinite source of wisdom... The Cosmic unconsciousness if you will ...and I believe this relationship could be to the morphogenetic field. Albert Einstein and a good number of scientists now are of the same mind, that time is just another dimension, so it would make sense that the morphogenetic field has access to information from the past, present and future.

What you dont do is go to a phycic that is well known or even has his or her own store. Those poeple are scam artists.

I went down to South America to go to a shaman that was well known in his region. He did not want moeny or anything and he did a whole bunch of ritual things for about an hour and a half before telling me that i had a beast insdie me that wanted out. Later in that same year i went to an Indian preist in North America and he told me that I have the spirit of the wolf. These two insidents seemed really simalar to me and a little time after my birth day i started to get really angry all the time constantly wanting to run around outside, my teeth are very pointed except for my front teeth, and one time i had been walking in the street and almost got attacked by a pitbull but i turned around and growled at it and sorta screamed with a step foward and it turned and ran with its tail in between its legs. So if she wants to no stuff from phycics then go to not well known ones for at least semi good info and go to more then one.

I have been experimenting little with it, alfa beta delta waves make one in different trans so brains can open one self to different conciousness.

I think shamanatic practises are at some extent just that, drums making you brain going transe so you can do spiritual journeys.

I have had discussions with someone through mail and that personend believed that spirits can choose some people to be shamans and if they dont get the message they can make that person go crazy or one way or another realise that he has that destiny, then also for spirits to make that transformation that person has to be NDE (near death expirience) so they could alter he soul matrix so it fits them so they can guide that person for healing and good..

But that was her point of view and that person was really convinced of hers facts and she also was a writer and well knowlegable in that practises and im not as much as i wish to be. But it did make me very interested in what she had to say and thats enough for me, tiny inspiration can grow to something beatiful

But what i want to discuss now is the feeling that some music and lyrics comes in special moments that makes you wonder if they are messages from above or if we are guided by higher powers.

All could be just a coinsidense but when it feel right in the heart then i guess its true for most of the time, well for me it is like that:D

Then ofcourse its not just in music the messages can be different in nature, all from nature to curtain texts you read to numbers, Synchronicity........ Not everyody want to see those messages. some people say that when ones third eye open then you stat seeing those kind of things.. not quite sure but intersting atleast.

A good portion of what people consider "imprints" or unconscious thoughts that just pop into our head or unreasonable fears or desires are indeed past life memories and conditionings. The sudden "idea" of how to do a specific activity or knowledge of a specific event or solution to a problem is a past life memory that is stored within your own soul. Many people call it akeshik(spelling) memory or universal memory, but I bleieve it to be the personal soul memory. You are not crazy because you have sudden knowledge or because you feel fear in particular situations. Perhaps you were a particular animal in a past life that lived underground, that would certainly justify the fear of the open sky and the desire to be underground or undercover.

Doing a past life review or spirit retreaval helps to not only understand the issues of the particular past life but the reuniting of the pieces of spirit left behind at a particular time and space is very benificial to overcomming unconscious and unreasioning fears and thoughts. Often those past lives and pieces of spirit are calling to us and that is what causes odd dreams and thoughts. They want ot be reunited with the whole, or the soul.

Animal communication

Thanks, you guys! it's been a while but I wanted to let you know that you both have been an inspiration & help to me with your in-depth replies.

I did finally have a surprising AC breakthrough last summer. It was not ambiguous at all, in fact it was intense and even a little overwhelming. To be honest, it spooked me a little. It wasn't anything my animals said, it was just the intensity of emotion I felt from them (all three at once) and the sheer 'weirdness' of recieving communication in that way. Beware of what you wish for because you just might get it.

I've taken a break from practicing since then. I'm not sure if I can even get to that level of communication again but finally I feel ready to try. I just need to figure out how to turn down the volume!
