Maybe the US and China should be more worried about the garbage on Earth and clean that up first, and then we can go into space and pick up after ourselves..

Great find though. Wonder how maych the clean up will cost.

I know we have seen similar pictures and news from the Saturn system before but this has just come into my inbox, only seconds before I was due to sign off. There is usually a lot of fresh content in these messages from Ciclops, anyway.
  Here is the preamble:
November 17, 2009
Just a reminder that Cassini is right now fast on approach to Saturn's moon, Enceladus, for a thrilling, close-up encounter this weekend.
The focus for this flyby is on remote observations -- images and temper ...

I do use caution when reviewing Hoagland's material. He is well known to be an agent that twists things, this is evident by his contacts and his history. But otherwise he is privy to certain information.

Managed to watch the blast off live of NASA's Space Shuttle Atlantis, at 14:28 PM (EST) / 19:28 PM (GMT) on Satellite Television.

I also noticed the moving objects entity, but have also done so in various past Space launches and have always put them down to frozen particles of Rocket Fuel detaching themselves and radiating out of the spent Rocket.

But one can never rule out, that they are interested UFOs watching the launch taking place. One really needs sophisticated Film laboratory Equip ...

Astronomy Forums - YOUR interpretation of these Mars pictures?

Thanks Lonecat. I often see craters as "sticky-up" things rather than "sinky-down" ones.

But I was also looking very closely at the edges, where the shadows and highlights are more discernible.
It looks as if the light is hitting the edges from a different side to the other features around the crater. Again, it's probably these aging peepers. Ho-Hum!

For NASA to finally say it after crashing a perfectly good satillite into it is pretty sad.

This is not really a repeat of the previous posting by Newbies. It is concerned more with the business of bombing the Moon which everybody is up in arms about. Also I liked the illustrating collage of the Moon and the missile heading towards it. I also liked the picture of the Moon in your posting,Newbies

Astronomy Forums - Life In Extraterrestrial Oceans?

Like with Planet Earth's Oceans, within our Solar System are other Bodies, such as Jupiter's Moons, Europa and Ganymede, which also have Oceans and are thought to contain Life.

In 2020, a joint venture by the European Space Agency (ESA) and NASA, are planning to send two Probes to explore Jupiter's Moons, hoping to detect a form of Life within the Oceans.

The ESA's Europa Jupiter System Mission (EJSM) Probe will be launched first, with NASA's Jupiter Europa Orbiter (JEO) planned to blast o ...
