Is it just me, or is this absolutely weird.

Go to http://www.2012.com/ and you will see that it says:
This domain is not for sale. Please do not call. Please do not write. Please do not email. Thank you.

It seems to be placed and contextualized in a rather exhasperated manner... Seems odd ANYONE would do anything like this. Is someone holding this domain name until they have enough info to disclose in the website, some day? Or is this something to do with a obstructing the ability for someone to spread information about the possibilities of the year 2012 in such an easily accesible website as is www.2012.com?

What do you think?

Whoever it is they have had it registered for a long time...

I imagine this is a speculation that the site will be of much more value near to 2012. I understand there people getting rich on buying site names and holding them until they increase in value.

Lucifer, thanks for the info, the site sure has been kept safe for a number of years. Sounds possible that it's being held until near 2012 for a higher selling price, but at the same time I wonder how much is anyone willing to pay for it, there are other site like www.2012.com.au, not much of a difference!

ok.. so longish story short, in my own wanderings i stumbled on this post. As one of apparently only a few people who have stumbled upon the site 2012.com on their own apparently, i dug a little deeper then it seems is shown here.

Firstly after looking into the registrants of 2012.com you find learningsolutions.com

go to learning solutions.com and you get an interesting wedsite. Nothing seemingly too odd. It's for a smallish company based in florida dealing with the manufacture of a specialized learning device for schools entitled "Indigo" .... Now I'd venture to guess that anyone familair with all the webbish intrigue behind 2012 and all the different theories of what's going down in that year and so forth, will have an immediate reaction to the word Indigo... Therefore the next step of my digging shall prove some interest as well.

2012.com in a google search yields a second website with the whole 'not for sale do not write' line.... www.gupta.com ... turns out site registered as well to learningsolutions.com .. gupta is historically wise an Indian empire spawned circa 2000BC. The gupta empire was known specifically through it's time for rapid development in mathemetics as well as many of civilizations within the surrounding areas such as the sumerians. This is a period of time known for it's rich treasure trove of knowledge pertinent to the cyclical nature of our solar system that leads to whatever is supposedly gonna happen in 2012. One of the 3 historically known rapid buildups in human civilization following the same ~3600 year trend.

~6000 bc, ancient greek and other mesopotamian cultures are beginning to emerge with written languages that begin to relate information about cyclical events including stories such as the niburu appearences and the like.

~2000 bc, sumerian cultures, hebrew cultures, mayan cultures, including the gupta empire as well as various other highly advanaced for the age cultures began to grow rapidly and build up advancements extremely rapidly.

~1800 ad, rapid buildup of technologies leading to a cultural economical, industrial, mental, emotional, evolution/revolution .... The changes in our world today can be looked at as as exciting changes that occured back in 6000 bc must have been to the people of those times.


this is just connections made in 5 minutes of digging.. i also look at my digging as big stretches of plausibility but 3 coincedences makes it less coincedental... And the fact the owner of these sites goes back so far (both site names taken in '97) and so adamantly refuses any communication on the purchase of the sites, meanwhilte doesn't use either for any purpose...


makes it lot less coincidental to me..

I've found out a bit more, and, to summarize, the people involved:

- have access to funding via the Jacoby Group
- use the name Indigo for their learning device
- own 2012.com and have no interest in selling it
- are interested in developing dolphin/human interaction
- may also have an interest in pyramids

Could just be that they are new-agers, and nothing more. OR, could they know something about connections between 2012, indigo children and dolphins?

The connection to gupta.com seems to be only related to Sunil Gupta, and nothing to do with ancient history....

Maybe the whole point is that they don't want to sell the domain, and they are trying to get across the point, to not bother to email them, because they will not change their minds...

My guess is they mean do not contact for any reason.. But hey it's always worth a shot.. I mean really all they can do is ignore you..

The thing out of all of this that perhaps interests me most is the Indigo device itself. Yes it's apparently a simple laptop, but the underlying software is of note. It is basically encouraging a hive minded approach to learning and grading and advancing skills.

From what I can infer from my digging is that the device works as such.

Teacher (think of like an ice tea pitcher) feeds the lesson plan, directing the device to start it's routine.

Students (think of like a pyramid of empty drinking glasses) begin working on the initial phases of the lesson plan. Those quicker to advance fill up faster and represent the top of said pyramid, as they begin to "overflow" on knowledge of the current subject, they are "assigned" lower steps on the pyramid to assist. Basically student teaching student in a way only a fellow student can understand.

The approach addresses some very specific "indigo children" problems, such as being unresponsive to direct authority, and easily being uninterested in anything akin to typical education. Give an indigo kid a computer and they can teach themselves damn near anything within years. Have that same kid explain something they tought themselves to someone else, and you find very quickly they can express things in ways that your average non-indigo child can understand, much better then your ordinary teacher can.

And when discussing with themselves indigo children can understand damn near anything each other has to explain with minimal effort.


So you have here a system that looks like it was built from the ground up to not only utilize the hive mind mentality forming within the emerging indigo children population, but also include within it a way to educate those around the indigo children. At the same time it introduces into the system a fair and balanced methodology for "grading" all of the people in the class, once more fixing a long term problem for indigo children. That is that most indigo children are often treated as developmentally disabled or impaired, when in actuality most are just bored.



All in all when looking at what he is trying to do with his new teaching method, I would say Mr. Gupta is very much aware of the indigo children and of their emerging role as the future true teachers of the new world to come.
