I'm so glad to finally have an account here! I don't know where to start with my "interaction" with "phenomenas" involving esp. Probably earliest would be several years ago, when I astral projected. I didn't realise that I was astral projecting however until I had returned to my body. This was certainly not a dream.
For the most part however life is normal, except recently. I can swear that I received a telepathic thought from my dog. Before this I had been practicing making psi-balls. I try both to energize the psi-ball, making it hotter, and grow it bigger. I can do the first very well... in fact sometimes it feels as if my stomach will explode or become on fire. Making it larger however is difficult, or simply moving it around my body in general. Does anyone have any personal recommendations or does it just come around with practice? And I'm specifically concerned with releasing this energy, so that it's no longer inside me.

Hi Crazyeugene! Glad to see you've jumped right in to the swim.
I've been able to hear my cats' thoughts many times; I'm convinced this is more commonplace than people think.
As for psi balls, I don't have any personal experience, but I've read that you need to start slowly and build up your strength, so to speak. It's like starting to exercise a new muscle group; it's going to be challenging at first and maybe even painful, but if you work slowly and steadily you'll build up your strength.

Hiya Crazyeugene!
A very warm welcome to you!
Interesting experiences you are having. Seem familiar to me!
With respect to releasing energy, a dear friend has taught me that if you take a long slow deep breath, then exhale rapidly with the intention of releasing excess energy through your breath that it works quite well.
I don't doubt one bit that your dog sent you a telepathic thought. They communicate readily this way and many animals are realizing that their humans are becoming hip to the idea so they try more often! It seems to be becoming more common as people are becoming more aware of it.
Have you read my animal communication threads? LOTS of animals like to talk this way. I hope you'll give them a read and do more talking with animals as it seems that you have an affinity for it already, it may come really easily to you.

Ok, I do have something to add, after all: I've found it helpful at times to know where the energy I'm releasing is going. Depending on the circumstance I either release it to the Earth or send it out to the Universe.
It's my experience that the energy itself has no inherent 'good' or 'bad' value, regardless of where it's coming from; once it's released it simply goes where it's needed.
And... I too have close connections with my cat companions (oh and the leopard gecko I adopted a few years ago as well, who is oddly catlike in demeanor). I've 'spoken' with a number of animals, especially the cats but also some of the squirrels and blue jays that come around for peanuts, as well as ones I've encountered in the woods... all that to say I agree with Annu - no doubt in my mind that such communication is not only possible but beneficial.

Just wanted to say thanks in general to everyone who replied. I actually do have some chi balls, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking for (as in sensing, recognizing) when I'm using them. In the past, I usually just used them for what I was told: stress relief... all I can say is it took my minds off things.
Actually Annu I have read your threads, in fact I told some of my other friends about them because it just sounded like such a cool experience. This was before my experience with our dog - I had actually believed that telepathy wasn't my calling, since I never really noticed it much before. It's strange though, I have this sort of "hypothesis" that telepathy is something most people don't even notice, for example people may receive thoughts from other animals but instead foolishly think that the thoughts are theirs! In the case of an animal "telling" some outlandish story to a human, the person may think how clever they are for creating such a random thought. So I think reading about your experiences actually opened my mind to the fact that there could be thoughts roaming around in my head whose origin I'm not always aware of.
And I believe it's true what you say, that most animals prefer this way of communication. Even animals that make noise do not make noise often, so they must be communicating else how, unless animals just don't have much to "say". I doubt this though.
spiritzephyr I never thought about actually thinking about where the energy should go, but that is a very clever tip! Thank-you!

I completely agree. In fact it was mentioned in another thread, as well, that people may tend to explain away sudden thoughts and insights as products of their own minds, and that they also may explain away many other sensory perceptions - a touch on the arm, a person-shaped light or shadow passing through the room, noises or smells of unknown origin - when these could hold some significance.
Those of us who are 'gifted' with 'extra' perceptions aren't, imo, truly unique; we just pay attention. I think most people are way more sensitive than they might imagine.

I feel exactly the same way. There are times when you 'hear' a voice call your name or tell you to get out of the way when you're about to be hit by a shopping trolley or something and people tend to explain those away as some unknown part of the brain. But how could you know?
I know that when I accepted that I could see that which others couldn't my experience of the world around me started to change. I feel much more in tune with my environment now and can definitely tell when things are not as they seem. I now see and sense things that others can't. But I'm sure they could if they opened up to the experience and dropped a few strongly held beliefs about the world.
