I have a desire to learn of Albion and settle for an opinion too. But he is as mysterious as they get.
The son of a forgotten Celtic Sea God? (I hope)
The son of Poseidon & Amphatrite who was given these Islands and their name is from him, (and/or the whit cliffs!)In spite of this description of his parents being Greek Pantheon he's described as Celtic (by some), I won't rule that out given Epona's status as I know it, a Celtic Goddess recognized and worshipped by Rome.
anyway, any opinions on Albion from here?

According to Barbara Walker's The Woman's Encyclopedia of Myths and Secrets, Albion means "white moon" and was an ancient British goddess. And there is a shrine to Albion at Holmhurst Hill, with a sacred fountain. Over the centuries her legend became Christianized and masculinized into St Alban.
