So, I either think some friendly other worldly spirit is making a home for itself in my house, or I am hyper paranoid. Allow me to elaborate.
About a week and a half ago, I had a sleep paralysis experience where I thought someone was sitting on my bed on top of my legs. I sat up to see if my husband was sitting on the bed and no one was there, but my legs were numb and tingly and about ready to fall asleep.
The next experience actually happened to my 1.5 year old daughter. I was playing in her room with her, when all of sudden she stood up and started pointing at the ceiling with a big smile on her face. She then began to follow something with her finger across the ceiling, and down her closet door all the while smiling and giggling. Then she just stopped and moved onto playing with something else. There was no light (sun or otherwise) that was shining on the ceiling, walls or closet at that time, nor did I see a spider or any other kind of bug.
The next day my same daughter was playing in her toy room when all of sudden she just started reaching her hands up like she wanted to be held and looking up. With her hands lifted into the air, she again began chasing something while laughing and giggling the whole time. She reached the end of the hallway where a linen closet is, and she stopped and went right back into her toy room and started playing again with a little smile on her face.
Yesterday was my eldest daughter's 4th birthday. We spent all day long at the park and at a friend's house celebrating her birthday. When we all got home we were just kind of vegging. My youngest daughter started playing with the keyboard, and I decided to vacuum up some chips that were spilled on the rug. My daughter is afraid of the vacuum, so when I started vacuuming, she went stood on the steps. I was just finishing up and then all of sudden the keyboard started playing the "Happy Birthday" song then stopped. Now, my daughter wasn't standing near it at the time, and you have to press a button called songlist in order for it to play a song, and it goes on to play 3 songs and then it stops. So, not only did no one press the button, but instead of playing three songs, it only played the one. I think it might have been someone trying to wish my daughter a happy birthday.
About an hour or so after the keyboard incident, something else happened. I sent my oldest daughter into her bedroom to clean up her room while I was changing my other daughter into her pajamas. All of a sudden, my oldest comes running into her sister's room where we were, and tells me something just whispered to her in the closet. I ask her what did they say, and she said that a boy voice told her "I want some ice cream". She said that it came from the bunny that has a flower on it. So, I go take a look, and she shows me the bunny, and I find that it is a bunny who when you press the hand it sings a song and hops. This particular bunny's batteries have been running low, so it no longer hops, but it still sings. Could something have manipulated both the keyboard and the bunny to get a message across??
Any and all feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I agree with tandym, but are you new to this place? I'd really want to keep an eye out on the children. You never know. Sounds pretty innocent for now.
Maybe keep some cameras going or a camera handy to take pics. Being the children are the focus, be very watchful. Maybe try to find out history of the place? Hopefully it stays benevolent.
Good luck pantera714

Hi Pantera714,
A ? for you. Do you ever smell like a match was lit right next to you or under your nose? The strong smell of a burnt match?
Just curious. Thanks.

I'm not suggesting that I know anything for certain, but I'd be remiss if I didn't share the red flags that arose as I read your post, Pantera. I'm going to second Kira's cautions here. Although for me the mental image of your daughter responding to an entity was sweet, the gut (read intuitive) feeling that came with the visual was not. It feels like something is just a bit 'off'.
Too early in her life for you to educate her regarding 'stranger danger', especially given the stranger's unseen identity. Have you smudged your home and/or placed any protections around your children? zeph

Hi Pantera714,
I should explain my ? a little better. The reason I asked about smelling a burnt match is because it was my experience w/what I will describe as poltergeist in the home, that I on occassion would get a strong smell of a burnt match. I'd search everywhere to find the source and there wasn't one to be found.
So just a curiosity.

I have to agree with Spiritzephyr and Kira. We have had visitors since before Nikki was born. For the most part things have been calm. There have been times though that things were not calm.
Nikki has the highest level of protection I can provide for her. I have been burned though on a couple of occasions when I was helping a couple of folks with their problem "visitors".
All in all, I think it is a tricky move to be complacent and assume children know best. Sometimes they may. But sometimes their judgement is marred by their youth and inexperience. I certainly do not expect children to understand beyond their years when adults invite the most horrendous stuff into their homes and bodies.
I do not mean to scare you, pantera714. However, if there are any mediums around as good as Lisa Williams, it wouldn't hurt to have them take a look.
