Virgin TV on demand have a new section for programmes to be viewed at anytime who are with Virgin , here in the UK

This is through Virgin Central.....
Science Fiction , Paranormal and Conspiracy Theories are amongst the subjects... some interesting stuff !

Over here about the only good place to get that is the History channel. Forget the sci-fi channel.

I would think that Newfoundland being England's oldest colony, we would also receive this programming. Since you brought it up newby, maybe you can convince them to send it overseas.

Now maybe, England is teed off that we changed our flag in the early 1980s. Before that, we used the Union Jack as our provincial flag. But, we are the closest point of land in the western hemisphere to England. Even if it's only to Bonavista, the site John Cabot landed in 1497 & claimed on behalf of England. I'm sure the Queen could put in a good word. She looked like she enjoyed the visit here on June 24, 1997, 500 years after the fact. England built a replica of the Matthew, the ship Cabot piloted, in Bristol & sent over. What's a little programming compared to that.

Just kidding newby. So let me know when you get the job done.

I dont ever watch TV much anymore, but my beloved told me about the channel so I checked it out .. yep you are right Kira it is the same Branston guy from the Airlines.

I guess I'll have to give ole 'Liz a shout. It has been a while. I worked in the beer tent while she was here. I think I drank more than anyone I served & I had many a conversation with people from the world over. During those celebrations, the population of Bonavista went from under 5000 to over 40,000. I think I saw her waving to me through the TV cameras when she was in the US last. Maybe you could give her a shout & let her know I'm trying to get in contact with her.

I love that link Tiger, China is so interesting. The past it's had, whew. They sure are blowing it now! But many of their old paintings have crafts in them. Like the Bible, God knows why they wanted to stop knowledge of all this?
