Hey anyone in the Uk start watching the Most Haunted live special last night ?
It's based in Turin, supposedly Satan's city and last night they were going around a deconsecrated church called San Pietro in Vincoli. It was pretty good viewing at times although the show does tend to focus on Yvettes face too much and not on what they are supposed to be after. A couple of things happend such as a couple of books fell off the shelves in the library; One entitled 'The Devils'
Just wondering if anyone out there watched and saw any of the live webcam stuff

I watched about 5 minutes of it ...They said "here's tonights highlights again" ......There was nothing to see except them all shouting OOH ,OUCH, ARRRGH
My advice dont give it credibility by watching
I wont again

Yeah its not credable at all but i find myself compelled to watching it - well to flicking through the highlights on SkyPlus.
I think its the unknown factor that makes me want to see if anything will happen, I dont buy into these mediums they use or the sounds and noises (lack of) but the use of webcams could be interesting.
Plus the venues chosen so far have been good. It would be nice to see them use equipment such as the Flir thermal imager and maybe have somekind of GPS tracker laid over a map on screen to show where the crew members are at all times.

Im with you , Lancelot.... its crass but cannot help but watch it!
There are a couple of reasons I watch the "live" programmes
One is the ** just in case** feeling...
Two is the ** now what are you going to do ** feeling ..if it wasnt for the fact that they would make a mega mint of fast bucks out of it , I would love for some sort of serious and undeniable manifestation to appear just to see what would happen further down the line...to the people and the programme
Three is ** TPTB control ** how would the TV , Media deal with it ... would TPTB allow further live screenings etc ... would they produce any more programmes if allowed to etc..
Me thinks they do it , half thinking that nothing will happen... Oh how I WILL something to appear ... just to watch them REALLY react.... to see if they would continue etc
Not that energies, manifestations , ghosts, spirits , whatever are a media necessity , and calling on them to publicly perform isnt really a good thing for either side but I would love to see how people who play with these things to make money on TV would react once it really happened to them!
Of course they say it already has , but I havent seen anything thats convinced me yet...
An interesting point is to have the TV on, but not watch the programme , just listen to it....
besides their acting , reacting squeals etc ... you can hear words , and other noises that are not from the crew... most of these get missed on the live shows...intentionally or otherwise...
IMHO its just a bit of fun...and you can get some potted history for certain locations too ... but thats all it is..and its main aim is just thrill seeking for a few easily scared folk!!

Exactly .. for the past 2 nights nothing has really happened apart from a dog wandering round that turned out to be a golden retriever, which scared yvette.
But its the little feeling i get thinking 'if' i turn it off now then something will happen and i've just turned off. But thats just what the makers of the show want you think and thats how they get audience figures.
But i know what you mean about, what if something does happen to one of them and they get a manifestation or worse on camera. It would be great tv to see the muppets on screen trying to run. I'm all for investigatin this kind of thing but they should spend the night there, concentrate on better equipment in the field and lose the stupid medium who plays on reactions too much.
Anyway rant over, there are 3 more nights in Turin and hopefully it may turn up something. Tonight its in a Monestry, where murders by priests took place.

I think a lot of these shows are fake or if not bloated with more than what actually happens. These paranormal reality shows are all the same. They all play music in which you cannot hear anything and all you see is the hosts screaming or saying they heard things. They also state they feel things touching them or whatever. But the fact of the matter is us (the audience) cannot hear whatever is going on or see anything besides a bunch of people talking and screaming. On a rare occasion you might be able to see footage of an orb or something but thats about as far as it goes. These shows are pointless really, I would rather watch a documentary on the so called haunt site than watch some fools walk around and claim things that we cannot assure anyway.
But thats just my opinion.

hi im new to this site i stumbled across it whilst trying to find any hard facts regarding tonights location. i will say that i don't put much stock in what is shown on the program because on more than one occasion i have noticed things that i believe are a complete set up (such as the procariously placed folders that fell on kieran on wed night). i am by no means a sceptic as i have seen my share of ghosts but i find the new phsycic extreamly melodramatic. as for the web cams the only thing i've seen was a dark figure on wed night but this could have been one of the crew.

Since Dereck Acorah left the Most Haunted team seem to be engaged in a great effort to make up for the immense dynamism he brought to the show even to the point of copying those interactions Dereck brought to the show, however how it comes across now is laughable and there is little respect for the viewers in their efforts that are patently reactionary to the absence of of superior mediums. The producer should look to restoring psychics and mediums of a higher calibre to show.Of the recent effort the only unpredictable performance came from a dog looking into a window.
