So this is yet another in the Bermuda Triangle of haunted graveyards I live near...
Quote: Located just north of mysterious Archer Avenue, where many haunted sites can be found, including the home haunting ground of "Resurrection Mary", is the Archer Woods Cemetery. The cemetery gates can be found along Kean Road and mark the entrance to this strange and unsettling site. Many local residents claim that this may be the most haunted of the immediate area's burial grounds.... and that means a lot considering that close by is the already mentioned, Resurrection Cemetery and St. James-Sag Cemetery.
The gates to Archer Woods Cemetery hide many secrets, including those of a mysterious woman in white who has been reported her by night-time passersby. This cemetery is also haunted by a mysterious woman but this one is not trying to flag down a ride on Kean Road. She seems to be content staying inside the cemetery, although it is passing motorists who usually notice her. People who are sometimes driving along the road in front of the cemetery at night claim to have heard the sound of a sobbing woman from the other side of the gates. When they check, they report the apparition of a woman in a white dress, walking among the tombstones and crying loudly, her face covered by her hands. Who this woman is and why she haunts here is a mystery....

So I did a drive-by today and took some shots until my batteries died... I also turned around in the parking lot of Resurrection Cemetery on the way when I missed my turn ...AND yes, I captured some interesting shots ...not to mention the gratuitous crappy cell phone video....S

and I was in that area yesterday and stopped to capture a giant shadow entity on the left of the church at St. James-Sag Cemetery

Hi ...
So I made a return trip to Archer Woods yesterday in the wake of a rather heavy weekend winter storm here, in addition to catching some excellent photographic opportunities in the cemetery, I decided venture into the adjacent woods based on the local lore of satanic rituals and ghostly apparitions reported there...and as usual the Purple Forest Orb was there to great me ....b

The ironic part of yesterdays expedition is the fact that I fell on my face in the graveyard and not in the woods (below) ...as the first picture implies, aside from the potential for pretty winter photos a trek into these woods with my light winter boots didn't seem like a good idea yet I was compelled to venture into those woods anyway... what I captured there is not something that is translatable to film or even words for that matter but I will make a spring trip to this bridge AND the woods surrounding Bachelors' Grove, that was notorious for rituals and a patch of the Forrest where nothing grows and the deer avoid ( mobile meth lab probably) stay tuned for the rest of the photos...including the moisture smudged picture I took after I fell in the snow with the camera and didn't clean the lens...
