omg that was intense lol I dont' know about e mailing Nye...I think he got whipped enough.

I'm still in shock that this is on tv, let alone CNN. Have to think about that. I'll be e mailing to give my opinion though. This was intense like I said. Stanton got a bit hot under the collar, but my god, how can you not when having to deal with these skeptics that haven't a ground to stand on, but continue to say science doesn't substantiate this when it does. They are really giving science a bad name.

This is really heating up, to have this on CNN, the guests he had, this is phenomenal.

I agree Kira, it's another step forward. It's very difficult to have witnessed this alien life............and sit w/my cup of coffee watching this get debated on CNN.

I do believe the skeptics lost this round. I know how difficult this is to believe......... for so many people........... good honest hard working people...... believe what they are told........ don't make trouble. Want the truth.

We have a vested interest in this, becuase whatever 'they' are....... it affects all of us.

The skeptics had not one leg to stand on. Sorry, but I couldn't even tell you names but the one was saying how in France most people asked if they believe in ufos said yes. And that they still go around doing normal business. OF COURSE THEY DO!!! But there hasn't been a mass sighting over the whole country with contact yet. Neither anywhere else.

As Stanton said, 6 reasons why to cover up. That was just one, hysteria. The main one is control! The loss of control would be the killer to TPTB. The rest don't matter.

The one documentary guy (god I hate not remembering the names) said he has film of the Pheonix lights that hasn't been seen yet. Will be in his next doc.

I was just fit to be tied when the x military guys talking about the nukes being turned off...OR ON!!!! and this Nye had the nerve to try and say they were probably mistakes!!!? That the many people that SAW this thing were drinking!? I nearly blew a gasket!

Something's going on...to have Larry King doing so much on this, something's going on. I don't know if he just makes whatever show he wants or not, either way something's going on.

Wanted to hear the officers comments about the missile base encounters.

I guess the U.S. of A. is the last to uncover the lid on this........... I still have mixed feelings on how all of this will play out, and what it means for humanity.

Just had to come back in and say this. First off it was on again at 9 So I only got the last half of it, but...

Larry had a phone in question from a lady, 'why not give them (witnesses) all polygraph tests' and they start to answer all at the same time. lol Then Nye says..."just bend your toes during the polygraph and you'll pass it"

Everyone stopped in their tracks, the silence was deafening. Like I can't believe he just said that........because it's true! LMAO!!! I swear this show was unlike anything I've ever seen.

I can only hope one of our wonderful fantastic members got it taped and on youtube or whatever!!!!

SO, I was just reading the transcripts (thanks again anomynous and Zingdad) .........and when they speak about the video footage that shows the ufo involved w/missile......... that's not the first time I heard that. Had heard that talkeda bout while we were stationed in Vandenberg.

Look............ 'nough said. It's real. Begin getting used to the idea. It's more than an idea.

Hello, I watched this on the links today. I think as time passes the skeptics,debunkers have less and less footing. Nye doesn't impress me as the best to argue the points brought up because like was mentioned....he is not versed in the area discussed, imo. It is good to see this on mainstream though.....The idea of ufo and et are becoming accepted right before our eyes, at least it seems that way.

Thanks for posting the youtube links, I didn't get to watch it live because the new batman movie came out. It was awesome by the way.

Anyways, from Bill Nye's position, even if there is blatant evidence starring him in the face, he cannot fold because it is his job to remain 'skeptical'. I didn't see him make one valid argument the entire debate. This kind of frustrated me.

One problem I noticed is when an emailed question asked something like 'If ETs are visiting Earth, why don't they just announce themselves to the public?'. When you walk into a room and someone is sleeping, do you greet them by announcing your presence or wait patiently for them to wake up? None of the guests considered that maybe it isn't so courteous for a more evolved ET civilization to force its presence on another lesser evolved civilization.

Also, when they were trying to speculate as to what ET intentions are, they didn't consider this obvious point: They're much more technologically advanced than us and could easily overpower our military, so then why haven't they? I would have appreciated it if someone had mentioned this. Clearly, ETs disabling multiple nuclear missiles without simultaneously launching an attack is a step towards peace on their part.

Overall it was a great show.
