Hi all ,

Not sure if anybody saw it or not, About 1am on bbc news 24 last night they brought up the subject of all the recent ufo activity and sightings we have had here in the UK recently ..

They showed a video of a guy who got something on his phone camera and then went into the streets to ask people if they believe in ufo's , Aliens or life on other planets..

Now this is where the bbc media realllly got to me..

They only showed clips of people making fun and saying no they did not believe anything could possibly exist anywhere but on earth..

After showing about 10 or so sheeple saying nothing else could be out there and its stupid,

They then show 1 and ONLY 1 person saying yes they believe and they choose some middle aged woman who looked ( i hate to say it ) homeless and crazy .

Sorry if it sounds like a rant ,

It just really makes me sad that so many people are falling for this kinda stuff and letting themselves be brainwashed by it .
Because 90% of all people i have ever asked in my 27 years on this planet have all said they think or know there are things in our skies, and in the universe.

There , thats off my chest lol i woke up still angry at the bbc as i saw this just before i went to sleep

I reckon none of the UK News services have taken this subject seriously enough yet.They put naive reporters out on the street, to ask stupid questions, of even more stupid people. In the studio they have presenters that are dressed up as newsreaders, who are nothing more than bum-licking celebrity chasers. I dont pay any attention anymore. The silly hysterical laughting,even from the men, makes me irate.

When a full programme, hosted by the likes of Jeremy Paxman or Steven Saccur or even Andrew Marr is aired I will be all ears.

I moved this one to "Sounding Off", the forum section where rants are de rigeur. Seemed appropriate. If you'd rather it be in UFO, I can move it again

I gave up on hoping for a news that would be unbiased and fair a long time ago. I used to think of the News being a programme that reports events and happenings as they unfolded, thoroughly researched. Now when someone is watching it and I take a glimpse, it is more focused on what everyone else is reporting.

Recently been appalled with the media exposure about the state of Madonna's marriage or Angelina Jolie's impending birth. Who gives a toss? Not me. Would I give a toss about the real issue on hand, the UFO sightings, theories and feelings without ridcule, yes. Sadly, we are are living in a world where nothing really matters except standardised thoughts and way of thinking. The media teams are being fed cues with what to report, the less information the public has, the less power they have.

Bring back well researched and thought provoking NEWS, not who is the latest celebrity who faces jail time/up the duff/heading for splitsville/impending marriage etc etc etc
