The light of Leucippe - First Queen of Atlantis.

She almost seems to favor Albino which would explain her white appearance and teary eyes for the meaning of Leucippe.

We don't really know the purpose of her name, but the meaning which was also common for Europe,Ionia and Caria with ippo or Leuc.

White cliffs common around the seas and oceans could also have contributed to this cultural name from a certain region.

I seem to be favoring the "The Shining Beauty of Self" over the more common White Horse meaning associated with Leucippe and also the reason like Lilies or Lilacs, that I associate Leucippe with a Grove of Abundance and beauty for my translation of "Grove of White Horses".

I really like the first one.

She could also have been named because her glowing white appearance and her stunning beauty made your eyes blurry and teary like a dream vision before you where you have to rub your eyes to see if she was real.

Belle is Beauty and Cybelle is the oldest Goddess of Europe since the great flood.

She may also have been symbolized by the Venus of Willendorf, which also shines in meaning 25,000 years ago.

The same would be for the TanTan goddess of 80,000 years.

The German archaeologist correctly emphasized that, being the palette very similar in character (relief style, register lines, hieroglyphs) to the Narmer Palette, it was possibly from the reign of King Scorpion II, a near predecessor of Narmer (whose name in fact doesn't appear on the palette); the Scorpion king appears in a prominent position at the center of the lower row; the other rulers were ancient predecessors of Scorpion II in the Dynasty 00-0 (Abydos ?) royal line.�

During the 19th dynasty a number of Canaan-style stone fortresses were erected along the Egyptian eastern frontier. They were called by their Semitic name magadilu (In Hebrew for instance migdal means tower; cf. the biblical Migdol [Jer. 44:1; 46:14] ).

No strongholds of this era remain, but the temple of Ramses III at Medinet Habu shows a number of features characteristic of New Kingdom fortification.

At strategic places large depots were built. At Tharu (possibly identical with Sile) on the eastern border these were rectangular structures inside the citadel, covered an area of 12,000 m², had three metre thick mud-brick walls and opened on an adjacent yard.

Nomes, cities and sites
Egypt consisted of two regions which differed considerably from each other and remained administratively separate for most of its history. Lower Egypt, the wide river delta, had fertile black soil and many waterways, and was divided into 20 regions (nomes, Egyptian sp.t - sepet) ruled by nomarchs. These nomes are generally numbered from south to north and west to east. Upper Egypt was a thin long strip of reddish land on both shores of the Nile comprising 22 nomes [1].
During most of Egypt's history these two parts were held together by the king, heir of the god Horus who was the owner of all the land. But when the central power was weak and ineffective, the nomarchs often enlarged and embellished their provincial capitals, from which they supervised the maintenance of irrigation canals and dams, the local distribution of the Nile water and the dispensation of justice.
These provincial capitals were also religious and economic centres serving the surrounding countryside, where the vast majority of Egyptians lived in small villages. Many had more than local importance, with the state investing in their development, above all by building temples. Some had strategic importance as fortresses defending a frontier or as staging points for invasions of foreign countries.
The lands beyond the first cataract belonged to Nubia, conquered during the Old Kingdom and administered by a vice-roy.

Bill Kuhlman's 200-Mph Big Block Chevy
For the original generation of drag racers, Garlits breaking the 200-mph barrier in a dragster was a big deal. For a succeeding generation tuned in to Top Sportsman and quick street cars, Bill Kuhlman's achievement was equally big. At Darlington in March 1987, Kuhlman was the first to run 200 mph in a doorslammer.

Kuhlman's '85 Camaro ran a 615ci big-block Chevy built up from a standard Sonny Leonard kit. "I was very short on time when I was putting this motor together," Kuhlman would say later. "I really didn't have time to check all the clearances, such as piston-to-valve or piston-to-head." Fortunately, Sonny's Automotive had laid down all the groundwork properly. A cast-iron Chevy marine block bored to 4.620 inches was stuffed with 15.5:1 Venolia pistons and a Bryant 4.625-inch stroker crank. A pair of Leonard's ported Stage Two Dart heads were topped with his sheetmetal intake and a pair of Dominators, while making the whole thing happen was the NOS Pro Shot Fogger nitrous oxide system from Mike Thermos.

Following the 7.21 at 202.24 mph pass at Darlington, Kuhlman's engine was sent back to Sonny's for a teardown and inspection (below). The only real damage found was one lightly toasted piston and a scored rod, the result of a clogged nitrous nozzle. Leonard, Thermos, and Kuhlman carefully reassembled and checked over the motor, then shackled the beast to Sonny's Superflow dyno. On gasoline alone, the engine made a corrected 1,070 hp. With the juice flowing, it produced over 1,000 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm, and at 7,000 rpm it made 1,379 hp. Pretty good for a kit motor, especially in 1987.
