Hi folks. Some very beautiful images there. Momma, even with your substandard camera, that sunset is quite pleasing. I placed the images in your posts but left the links for their respective pages to get a better look. Very nice.

Wonderful Idea, Batty! I had a photo that I so much wanted to submit, but apparently it was yet another thing lost to my (better half)
It was a photo of a "sun dog"-an odd phenom where the sun mirrors itself, & appeared as two, with moving rainbow-like rays connecting them- the most awesome natural occurence that I have personally witnessed, over the Atlantic, just after sunrise...Oh well. Greta idea you have here! Blessings, NL

This is one I stumbled across while looking for other things. Great view of how nature can exceed our little expectations. Superb timing on the camera

I'm so glad that this is not a competition for the best photo as each and everyone of them are truly beautiful. keep them coming, Momma, that picture is fantastic, nowt wrong with your camera.
I have never seen a sunset so high up in the sky like this photo, taken when we returned home from a trip.
My eldest insisted I should put this photo down of Chip and Dale after all they are a part of nature hee hee!!

Sure am enjoying everyone's pic's. And Momma, that's a gorgeous sunset... always did love it when the seas quieted down at the shoreline by days end. Beautiful! I come from a town that celebrates the sun set each night (as if into the sea) and yours would stack right up there w/the best! Can't wait to see more.

yes it is great, he will be a future member of BoT, he certainly has a lot of questions and theories. Bless his little head! I have had to tell him to rein in the amount of photos he wanted to post, believe you me, there were loads!

Thanks for all the beautiful pics! Great thread Batty
I'd post one but seems I have a problem, so until I figure out what's wrong I don't have any good nature photos in my docs anymore. Tried to save one and it didn't go where it was supposed to. and I don't know where it went!
Great link too minifang.

I agree Batty. It was actually Spring in the Wasatch Mountains as we headed over to Ogden, Utah. I see why they held the Olympics there.

Baby doves, in their nest in a cedar tree...look for 'em, they're in there!
This was taken by my mom GnosticLady, and I'm posting it for her because she's not sure how to post images. (I'm getting around to teaching her.) All comments directed at her, please!
She has more pics at her website: http://gnosticlady.webs.com

mini! I've been to Bryce and Zion Canyons... fell in love w/the state right then and there. I should look into the photobucket before I go hogwild w/the photos.
Hi LadyO!
Love those baby doves! Enjoyed peaking at your mom's pics on her webpage. Her garden is bigger than mine, I'm jealous.
If I come across the dove picture I made a while back, will post.
Enjoying the pics!

Very amazing photos folks. I'd love to make an excursion into the mountains. We have the Long Range Mountains here on the island but I've only visited once when I was very young & en route to the ferry terminal on a couple of occasions.
Cruiser, I recommend checking out Photobucket. It is a much improved site since I first started using it & the editing options are excellent for a free service. IMO anyway. Plus, I find it's not complicated. It is also pretty fast in uploading images. Right on.

Thanks Trent. I use a program that came w/my camera for uploading/downloading from the camera...... then same for resizing. It's a Rebel.... usually ask hubby what I need to do w/it. Does take time to move pics around. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll take a look at it.
Sailor is letting me know it's past his bedtime........ he won't go up w/out me.
