Hey friends,

Just a note to let you know that the Book-of-Light.com is now open to the public! Yes, almost 3 years in the making and I finally got it ready for some visitors! It's been a struggle for me, working, raising Maverick and creating this dream site of mine...however, I feel really good about getting it done...well, actually it will NEVER be done....it will grow and grow with contributions from you!

Anyhow...still, I can CHECK that one off the list!

Some little issues have arisen...for one thing, if you don't register and login, there are some content viewing errors. It only happens when a person is not logged in...so that kinda sucks! I'm working on it diligently, as I would like the content to be freely available...just strange I all of a sudden got these errors happening today....but Murphy's law, I should have known. So I hope you don't let these little hiccups turn you off of my grand endeavor!

I've let THoTH know, that I am hoping to share articles and various content with BoT. A big part of my site, is circular traffic creation...meaning, I wish to collaborate with like minded websites and in so doing offer the seeking-surfer information they are looking for. So if my site isn't their cup of tea, then Book-of-THoTH.com may be...or Lightworkers.org or Halexandria.org or whathaveyou. Collaboration is the key to spreading awareness and "light" on the web....I think anyhow!

I can't create an account. Oddly enough, on the account creation page it doesn't offer me the chance to select a password. Then, when I put request password it says my account doesn't exist, and when I try to make an account again with the same username/email, it says the username/email is taken.

Everyone else who joined is approved now too...WEIRD things happening, as now my other errors just magically fixed themselves!! WTF? Oh well, I won't question when things go right.

Yep, one of our flagship members Ms. opalescent is your Pleiadian Renegade channel so she'll be posting her stuff on the site as well as her own.

Yeah...isn't that lovely! However, it's only for unregistered users...as soon as you register and login...all that goes away. So I'm working on that one as in testing I find that it is only a few users this happens to...although ONLY anonymous users! ha ha...now I know it affects anomynous users too!

So for now, just sign up to see the content, and hopefully I'll get that resolved soon....What a bummer though! All was well and then WHAM...error.

But on the beta link I could get to the register part. Only problem is what's the difference? All I noticed was my pc didn't like the beta site, was real slow or well I don't know why it acted like it did.

I bet you have a big headache, don't worry it'll all get there it's too beautiful to not get there. I love the front page.

Wow...what a nightmare! I guess that's why it's good to open in BETA mode.

Well, I think I fixed that error: Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /hsphere/local/home/mmmgems/book-of-light.com/beta6/includes/common.inc on line 1265

I no longer get it...soooo.....hope that means it's fixed, but of course others could still get it. I've cleaned out the site cache, so when you go back, just clean out your browser cache to be sure that the error isn't loaded in your browser. LOVELY!

It seemed to only happen for people NOT logged in...

The site is still a bit slow. Once I move to my new place (Friday-15th) and get settled, job one is optimizing for speed....it's difficult to do those optimizations when you're still developing the site, but now that many of the kinks are worked out I should be able to get it to load MUCH faster. So sorry about that Kira. Some of the speed issues were due to the error above....won't you try again.

Registration is on the Beta6 link....but I'll be removing that pretty front page soon because I think it's confusing...it's like an extra step before you get to the meat of the site...so soon it shall be gone!

Mini, I'll change that ascii to be a math question...seems people have had problems with the image captcha and ascii now...so me fixie!!

Thanks so much for your patience and testing! I hope anyone else who's had issues will try again...let me know if there are more problems!

Savannah!! You are NOT dumb....the ascii is WAY dumb...so I removed it. Now it's a really silly math question. Gotta have those captcha's or else the bots come visiting and cause all manner of problems.

I hope this fixes some of the sign up issues.

The site is still slow however....I am now on Satellite internet (just moved to our new place) and it's like watching plants grow...sloooowww. SO I'll be optimizing when I find time this week.

Anyhow, please do pop me an email using my little linky button below if anyone is having any issues signing up and I'll see what I can do.

I should mention, that the site is currently optimized for Firefox, but seemed to be functioning okay in IE6. I haven't tested yet in IE7...

So get Firefox!

GAWD that sucks! My most fave forum-master Kira can't even get to my site! SAD! Are you Kira on the site or? Let me know and I'll reset your account. Have you tried lately? I've done some more work to the system and found some bugginess with the logins and profiles...seems to be fixed for now.

I think I've fixed this anomynous. Now when you get to an "Access denied" page you get the login form. Also, I have a link on the main page (www.book-of-light.com) and the front page of the portal here (www.book-of-light.com/beta6).

Book-of-light doesn't like me. It says I'm not registered when I try to log in but when I try to register it says that my nick-name and e-mail are already taken.

I even went to my local newspaper to make sure that I'm not in the obituary; I'm not there. LOL
