Here is some pictures of some orbs I recently got in our backyard.
I was trying to take nighttime pictures, and this is how they turned out.

Honestly i dont know what to think about "orbs". Most people actually think they are nothing more than dust or dirt particles and film abnormality's. However great pics though.

I have seen some photos that a friend of mine took while he was in operational testing where they were testing out some new wave length cameras. They decided they would test them in an abandoned psych ward on the base. Those pictures that they took with that camera were absolutely frickin insane. In some of the pictures, even though they werent that clear because of whatever wave length they operated on, you could see the shapes of bodies standing around them as if they were watching with as much curiosity as the photographers had at the moment. Shortly after that my friend was hustled into an office and made to sign a non-disclosure of what he saw and found but he hid away a few of the photos and i was one of the lucky ones to have seen them.

Round the World, Folks have different ideas/perspectives on what Orbs are, with them being listed as:-

Angels
Dead Spirits of one's Ancestors
Ghosts
Probes
Spirits
UFOs/Alien Craft

If the Orbs you saw appear to be not solid and made of Light, i would tend to go with Angels (No matter what the type of Religion around the World is, all of them mention Angels), or Spirits.

If you think they are solid, i would go for a UFO probes.

However by guessing, we all could be wrong, as who knows they could be Souls of deceased Humans from another dimension, who have crossed back into our present dimension.

Let me add a couple of more "ideas/perspectives" to that list...



Solid orbs - Dry particulate matter such as dust, pollen, insects, etc.

-Liquid orbs - Droplets of liquid, usually water, e.g. rain.

-Foreign material on the camera lens.

-Foreign material within the camera lens.

-Foreign material within the camera body.


Naturalistic orbs are most commonly gained using digital cameras and built-in flash.

While photographers with archives of photos report having occasionally seen "orbs" in their photos gained with film cameras, the recent rise in reports of orb photos may be directly related to the common availability of digital cameras and associated rise in the number of pictures taken.

It should be noted also that the size of the camera is another consideration in the recent proliferation of orb photos.

As film cameras, and then digital cameras, have steadily shrunk in size, reports of "orbs" increased accordingly.

As cameras became smaller, the distance between the lens and the built-in flash also shrank, decreasing the angle of reflection back into the lens.

Orb photos have become so common that most "ghost-hunting" organizations are no longer accepting submissions of them.

and that right there is reason enough to dismiss them I suppose ...now don't get me wrong I have my own reasons to disavowal orbs, but citing pop culture cultivated ghost-hunters as any sort of authority on the subject is hardly a convincing argument (imho) ....

Haz, I am new to the forum, but I agree with you. I do not like to give a opinion on orbs. I do believe there is such a thing but in pictures I am not sure if the difference between a orb or bug can be seen.

often times orbs are moisture, dust, pollen, natural debris....
however the times you see an orb that is solid and not see through that is supposedly spirit.
sometimes you can see movement in them as well and see tails...
try the 3 or 4 consecutive shots and see if they are there, then not
most single orbs are spirit...if there is clusters then it's most likely natural

I can take pics with my digital camara and they are just ordinary pics, then I hand it to my Niece and she takes a pic of the same scenery and there are numerious orbs in the pic. They seem to follow her and only show up for her. I and a few others have seen, with the naked eye not the camera, orbs following her across an open field. No not dust particles, not lazer beams, not shadows, this in in daylight as well as darkness. They often appear to be dancing around her. No they dont speak to her or interact in any way other then to follow. They did block her path one time to prevent her from going down to the river to a party that turned out to be not a good place to be.

Spirits?? Angels?? what are angels but more highly evolved spirits.

I agree that orbs do seem to follow some people around more than others. I have a granddaughter and, and just about every time that I take a picture of her there are lots of orbs in the picture with her.
