Well, the title says it.
I've only recently heard about Sathya Sai Baba, from various sources with various beliefs. Some call him "Lord of the Univerese". I'd like to hear your views and if poss, why you have them.
Thanks.

Well, oddly enough, long ago I had a friend who practically worshipped the guy. He forced me to watch some footage of Baba's ministerings and miracles. I personally wasn't very convinced. Make of it what you will, but David Icke reported a story of someone who tried to pawn one of Sai Baba's magically created pieces of jewelry. But the pawn shop guy immediately recognized it was from Sai Baba because this happens so often. The pawn shop guy told her that Baba was a con artist that uses magicians tricks and costume jewelry and that it wasn't worth anything.

Thanks Illuminatus.
A couple of people I know think he's FAB. To find out more about him I did some searching...and personally, from my limited understanding, am rather underwhelmed. I'm not saying that that kind of manifestation isn't possible, I just don't think he is doing it. There's quite a bit of footage that shows clearly how he could be cheating in this. I do wonder about the experiences of so many who see his face pop up wherever they are and give these people instructions, which turn out to be very synchronistic, or give them answers to things which turn out to be correct...even foretell the future. This would make sense if the "visitees" are all devotees of Sai Baba, but I know of at least one woman who knew almost nothing about him when her experiences began.
I don't want to discourage anyone from speaking about him in a possitive light. All info. & views are welcome!!

Yeah, it's curious. I'm not familiar enough with Baba to theorize an explanation for the visions but my friend told me a story about how he met a woman who saw a vision of Sai Baba. And this vision reportedly told her that she was going to meet my friend the day that they met.
However, I've caught this friend of mine in a number of dishonest claims before, so...

Illuminatus...wouldn't someone be more likely to tell tall-tales about themselves rather than other people??
"Divinity amongst us" is what some people say about him. Aren't we ALL divine??
I could be wrong, but my concern is that although he may be helping some, he may be ripping off and conning millions more.
