Colums of lights in the sky

Actually I don't have much to write about this subject except to say that many people were concerned enough to call TV stations, State and City police, the FAA, and FBI etc. to report the sighting of streaming columns of different color lights dropping or hanging in the sky this evening. The local television station reported police and FBI(?) are investigating at this time. No further word has been heard as of this writing. Should info pop up, I will keep you informed.

If this sort of event has happened in other areas, I would like to hear from you. In the meantime, should anyone be willing to speculate on the event, I am more than happy to hear from you.

NOTE:The video taken by the televison station confirmed the sighting.

There are a few meteor showers around this time of November and the Taurids are particularly slow moving , but I am still not convinced based on the pics in the little vid clip.Hmmn

No, these were not meteors...They were colums of light. there is speculation they are ice particles falling from the clouds with light reflected off of them. Even so, it's a sight to see as they were viewed in the South and as such were not the Nothern Lights.

Wow these are beautiful pics Mensa... snow huh ? we are expecting snow in the North East on Saturday.. doubt we will get to see anything as beautiful as in these pics! :-o

mensa, where is this report from? The reports from N. Ca. are not pillars of light. Some in San Francisco called in to say it hovered over the city, about 3 story building height and was blue/turquoisish in color, then just disappeared. MANY calls came in and they said definately NOT a meteor.

Those pillar pics were awesome, wish we knew what made them.

I was listening to Coast to Coast AM last night when a truck driver called in to say he was seeing these columns of lights in the sky as he drove from Harrisburg, PA. toward Lancaster, PA. One of the guests on last night was Alex Jones..... and either Alex or George Nory said that HAARP was doing testing of some kind. I wasn't sure if he had info. about it or if he was taking a guess.

They seem to be trying to pass it off as virga illuminated by city lights.
