NC undercover officers use Taser on pallbearer

This taser thing bugs me. It's too easy for officers to over use it. Often people's behaviour is attributed to a medical condition...and when "tased" it can make that condition worse, sometimes fatal.

Glad to see the Officers are to be taken to task. I hope the enquiry looks into why they were in such a hurry. Dressed in civvies, maybe they were going out afterwards.

I just watched Robert Menard's "Demockery".
The Canadian people were told that tasers would be used in place of guns, so that there would be less deaths. In other words if there was a circumstance where using a gun was appropriate, a taser could be used instead. But, tasers would not be used otherwise. I don't watch the boob tube, so I don't know how tasers were sold to the American people.
