I HAVE to admit to feeling pretty smug lately about the whole "global warming" thing. Since this began to be news I have been saying it is not true. Recently I have been tracking it with the intention of getting together some info to write an article that finally nails shut the coffin on this whole ugly story. The bad news is this article beat me to it. The good news is they have done a great job of it.

Evidence just keeps piling up: Global warming is a hoax. And the climatological variations that we ARE experiencing are not isolated to planet earth - they are solar -system-wide. So it can't be caused by humans. So everyone breathe a sigh of relief. And stop being caught in the carbon-credit scam! But please, whatever you do - don't take this as permission to keep treating planet earth like your toxic waste dump! Lets keep up the push for ecologically friendly technologies. NOT out of fear. NOT to profit TPTB. But because we care for our planet and our own health.

Well said I agree wholeheartedly and try to live my life this way where possible.

Now lets see how long the "cold fusion hoax" storyline takes to collapse. Since that one more directly and immediately effects profits, I suspect that particular bit of political science will hang on longer.

Not really. I despise youtube for technical stuff because it's all short attention span theater. Neither the time nor the medium allow for enough information to be at all worthwhile as anything other than entertainment.

That clip for instance provides utterly no info as to current densities, frequencies, electrode type and material, output vs input, or anything else that would be worth the trouble watching it.

Frankly it appears to be nothing more than a simple electrolysis cell.

ive been saying this for 10 years or longer. its all a hoax, its a hoax its a hoax. i do agree this isnt to mean we can keep polluting every thing in sight.i also think that global warming was invented to divert us from the ongoing pollution that is occurring.

It's such a shocking scam, though, isn't it? We that would LOVE to use pollution-free sources of energy cannot becasue TPTB squash any access to such technologies. Only ones that are way more expensive and difficult than the "approved" modes are permitted as they offer no real competition. Instead they use the media (which they own) to keep pushing a message of how sexy and desirable ever bigger-engined vehicles are. We are, in effect, denied access to non-polluting energy, almost forced into super-polluting technologies... and then made to feel wrong and guilty for what this is doing to the world!

And the huge joke is that these things are not even causing the harm they say they are! Not to the planet anyhow. All we are harming is ourselves! We live in these desperately over polluted cites. We get sick. We fail to live in harmony with ourselves and the planet. We are the ones suffering from our own hands. And the ones in power are reaping the reward at both ends: they get the money and power from being in control of the resources. And then they get the control value of the guilt (which they can use for political gain) and the carbon-taxes and all the other down-stream manipulation opportunities from the Global Warming hoax.

Boy are we being willing lead up the garden path. Again.

Okay, we have to slow it down a bit on global warming & cooling trends being the actual outcome because, as we know, TPTB will take advantage of humankind's willingness to jump wholeheartedly into a fray if they hear the big enough names proclaim it to be for the right reason. All of a sudden, something else will be demonized as the culprit behind cooling trends & bystanders will ultimately suffer.

Climate change is a reality. Is some regions snow has been falling where it is extremely rare, such as the southwestern US whereas other regions are seeing less snow, as in my own province. France had it's recent disastrous heat waves while the article that Zingdad shared with us tells of cooling trends. In my opinion, there are regions suffering the ill effects of pollution directly while others are experiencing cyclical changes or solar activity influences. I recall a major incident a few years back that knocked out power grids due to major solar activity in Canada & I believe the US (memory a bit foggy today ).

I think those that capitalized on our eagerness to address a good cause should be held accountable to those that they ultimately cause needless damage to with their scheming. In more ancient times, the gods were responsible, according to the most influential officials, & people must suffer the consequences. And, rather than choose a few that may have actually made the terrible decision to contaminate the population's water supply (for possible example), let's grab some innocent working class citizens. That should appease the gods. Or, in modern day terms, let's lay off a few hundred middle class employees (the ones off who's backs the profits come from) & retire the, set for life, decision makers who've run the company into the ground & give them a fat severance package.

There are many reasons we should face the challenge of climate change. One is being how to insulate our lifestyles from the inevitable changes forthcoming whether it be warming, cooling, drought or flooding. We need to adapt or infrastructure will suffer. Frost will destroy roads & building foundations in a single season. Flooding will do damage in the same areas. We have to learn to adapt our agricultural practices to grow more tolerant crops & livestock. None of this everyone using a select few bee populations having to import in case of emergency. The climates are changing & so should our ideals & our practices.

We have to open our eyes to who's running the show. Are they worried about profits in this quarter being higher than the last? Are they insisting on profiting more each & every quarter of each & every year. If they are, how much of this is going to brace the backs of the people doing the actual work? It's all about the top dollar in this world. If they decide they've sucked all the profits they can out of being the bad person, they'll change their focus. As we know, if a big industry is pointed out as being somehow "bad" money will flow from all corners of the earth, to make it safer, except for from the ones that made it bad in the first place. Of course, those that are hired to lawfully earn their family incomes, often suffer at the hands of, first, the demonstrators, then the threat from gov'ts to clean up & then by the employers who don't want to take the cut from their own pockets. Then the money pours in to support those that lose everything, which, as we're seeing now, goes right back to those that cause the suffering rather than the into the solutions.

To make a long post short, I would like to see actions being taken that profit & protect both the planet & the creatures that dwell upon it, including us humans. We can make the planet a better place by using it's resources sustainably & by considering how much of an impact we will have, because any development will have an impact. Right on.

i would like to add that co2 is not a pollutant, and is not an esp powerful greenhouse gas. the reason the earth has a greenhouse effect is water vapor. that is the most powerful greenhouse gas (it isnt really a gas but acts like one) and it is responsible for 75 -95% of the greenhouse effect (depending on who you talk to). the sun is the major cause of climate change. it is the source of all of our energy, and without the sun the earth could not exist. humans have a negligible effect on the climate and the majority of that is local to large populations in small areas due to concrete,pavement and buildings as opposed to plants and soil.
pollution, however is a different story, as it effects all of us. from the city smog to the farming community abandoning traditional farming for assorted chemical pest/weed controls and fertilizers, all of this ends up in the drinking water, the ocean and in the air we breathe. and for some time now no one seems to care, other than entities like monsanto making GM crops at a huge profit, and they only care about the almighty dollar.

These events, & more, occurred all over the planet, just like we're seeing now.



Could this give us an indication of how soon a major change will happen & are there any clues within these findings that would indicate we're in the midst of something inevitable & that we have to change our focus to living in a different environment & cleaning up the one we now live in to make it a bit more appealing & sanitary for our kids & theirs? I believe we need to re-examine all our previous records where the "experts" were in the past looking for trends throughout history for warming shifts. We have to look at these colder periods & study the events leading up to them such as, was there a period of warmer temperatures before a major downward shift? As usual, we need to think outside the mainstream boundaries to find the answers, not just what we are looking for & want to find.

At the very least hopefully this will put an end to the endless parade of mindless celebrity PDA's about the subject.. It drives me crazy to see these individuals who have no idea what their talking about spout off at the mouth in complete and utter ignorance..

Don't post stuff like this, if Gore sees it he will start a movement to put out the sun.

TC, I had quite forgotten about this post of yours. Until now. I am busy writing a book and in one of the chapters that I am currently working on it is brought to my attention that the Mayan calendar is cyclical. The cycle is about 5126 years long. There are longer cycles too but the one that everyone is excited about - the 2012 one - is 5126 years long. The being I am speaking to in my book makes the case that there have been significant shifts in weather patterns every 5126 years. That sounded to me like quite an unsupportable claim but then a bit later I vaguely remembered reading something like that. It took me a bit of scratching to find it again. And here it is. This post of yours.

So that is at least a little bit interesting, huh? This huge planetary weather anomaly happened at the 0 point of the Mayan calendar. Now we are approaching the zero point again. And now we have some mad weather going on again. Is this just a co-incidence?

Personally? I don't believe in co-incidences.
