MEXICO CITY, April 24 (Reuters) - A dangerous strain of flu never seen before has killed up to 60 people in Mexico and spread into the United States, where several people were reported ill. [ID:N24524032]

Here are some questions and answers about the virus:

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE AFFECTED?

Mexico has confirmed 20 deaths from the flu and has 40 other possible fatalities and 1,004 people reported infected. Most of those who died are aged between 25 and 45.

In California and Texas, eight people were infected with the new strain, but all of them have recovered.

As many as 75 students at St. Francis Preparatory School in Queens got sick on Thursday. More got sick on Friday. What health officials want to know is was it swine flu or something more benign.

There are mounting fears about a deadly swine flu virus that is reported to have killed as many as 60 people in Mexico, one that health officials fear has already seeped into the United States.

St. Francis Prep was ordered to cancel an evening program Friday night because the New York City Department of Health isn't sure what made students sick Thursday and Friday with flu-like symptoms.

"I just saw lot a lot of kids lined up along the wall near the nurse's office," sophomore Kelsey Dittmeir said.

If it's the flu, the question is what kind of flu? And could it be the unique strain suspected in 20 recent deaths?

Here is what I believe about this:

This is an artificially created event. I contend that a mix of active flu virus types (including swine, avian and human flu viruses) were used to contaminate a batch of flu vaccines. When injected the human flu virus goes to work as normal and then creates an opportunity for the avaian and swine varieties to mutate in the weakened host. They cross over and become human pathogens. This is especially troublesome as we have no resistance to them as they were previously not dangerous to us.

The reason for this being done is basically to sow fear and make populations more pliable.

I believe your best response is take take EXTRA good care of your imune system and to be careful about being in close proximity to people that might be infected.

here are some tips to keep your immune system strong:
1. Keep a positive mind-set. Have fun. Laugh. This is much more important than usually given credit.
2. Eat healthily taking special care to eat for a healthy colon (a healthy colon is crucial to a strong immune system). This means lots of raw fruits and veg. Cut down (or cut out) processed foods and fast foods. Cut red meat to a minimum or go vegetarian if you can. Try to eliminate sugar. Replace it with Xylitol if you must have sugar. Eat yoghurt with live cultures and/or take capsules of intestinal flora.
3. Exercise every day. But if at all possible outside and in the sunshine. A sweaty gym doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
4. Wash your hands regularly. If you touch stuff that others have touched like doorhandles or banisters... then wash your hands. If you have to shake someone's hand - go wash yours afterwards. You don't have to do so immediatly - you just have to do it before you again touch your own face (and especially your eyes) or before you next touch your own food.
5. Wash your raw foods.
6. A good variety of brightly coloured fruits will give you a good mix of important dietary essentials. But supplement with good quality nutrients if needed. Whatever the case get LOTS of Vit C in.
7. If someone seems like they might be ill don't be afraid to be rude. Tell them to keep their distance. And tell them to take a sick leave and just stay home.

Look after yourselves friends. Take positive steps to take care of everything that is under your control and then don't give in to the impulse to fill your thoughts with fear and gloom. It IS all going to be okay.

Hi

I feel that this is a very important subject at this time and place. This has hit the internet big time and also the media. I'm in no way trying to doom and gloom anyone. As anything that would happen, I would hope people would hold their cool.

The only reason I would and am saying anything is to be careful in what you do from now on. Hygiene wise! In how much time you spend out of your house in public. Try to limit a lot of pubic contact and wash your hands non stop. That's about all we can do with this.

There's not much anyone can do. You still have to go to the store, get gas, work etc... pfft, how impeccable is the timing on this thing!? It's almost swiss timing. I'd be amazed if I hadn't been reading about it for so long.

But this vaccine. Especially! if it's manditory...

Just remember

we've been saying this for years

it's at our front door. Any vaccine offered to the public will be like playing russian roulette.

This is just an opinion, nothing more.

No one knows all the facts yet. If you are one of the many that do look in to the internet, then the best you can do is follow strict hygiene methods. Look into natural ways of fighting flu, there are many and just keep informed. Putting blame on this is irrelevant.

The CDC says two flu drugs, Tamiflu and Relenza, seem effective against the new strain. Roche, the maker of Tamiflu, said the company is prepared to immediately deploy a stockpile of the drug if requested.

My understanding is NO drug is effective, as this new strain appears to be lab made. It contains four to five different strains of the flu.... avian flu, human flu Type A, human flu Type B, Asian swine flu, and European swine flu. A strange combination------Something to think about******

All I can say is that we have no idea how far this might go. What I do know is that all I've studied now for over 6 years, that's online and personal, is that you can not trust that what you are getting from a doctor is what it should be. They probably don't even know.

As far as I've heard, it's a mixture of swine, bird and human virus. That's been in all articles. Now, is this normal? Most, that I've read say it's not and has to be engineered.

But then a lot of people are saying a lot of sh :shush:

so I don't know....

As well I ran across an article at Rense and it made me aware of something I read not too long ago; numerous governments were studying the Spanish Flu from the early 1900's (1918 I think) and striving to come up with a new strain as a weapon. Against whom, I do not know but it certainly is one way to weed the population to the numbers they consider viable for continued life on Earth. Here is a link and part of the article.

Oh yes, this is for sure.

Thing is, we've got to keep our heads and not just go flying off blaming, which will do nothing to help. Facts are nice, but when the gun is in your face, are you gonna go call for a lawyer?

This is time to take action to try and save your family, your self, friends. Take all measures to keep this from getting to you. Don't listen to areas, just do it! Make attention to your space, what's around you. Wash EVERY time you can! Look into things, just question things.

I just spent 2 days at an ER one night (old John Denver tune) about a week ago. Actually it turned out to be 2 hospitals in 24 hours. Take my word for it, if this epidemic hits you don't want to be any where NEAR an ER. They will not be able to help.

I have just finished watching Part 2 of Dr Ott's vids Kira...and OMG..mind blowing.. :-o

This swine flu pandemic was predicted way back in 1976 !..there is no way on Gods earth that I would have ANY more vaccines now..

A few months ago when visiting the docs for a meds review..(and having already decided not to have the latest flu vaccine)..he asked me to roll up my sleeve..and was chatting away..

I thought he was going to take my BP..so I was chatting back to him..the next thing I know..he is jabbing the flu vaccine in my arm... :-o

I said ''Hey..I had decided that I wasn't going to have that this year''...his reply...''Ah..but it's best for all elderly vulnerable patients to have it ''

My reply to him..''Well yeah..I'm elderly right enough..and I suppose I am vulnerable..seeing as I just got a jab I didn't want ''..he just laughed..

I'll be on my guard next time...

And so, to add to that, I can say I very strongly agree with the notion that one should not take a flu jab. I personally feel on should not permit any vaccinations to be be perpetrated on your body. They are way too risky generally and have quite often been strongly associated with a number of disease states that are quite as bad as that which they are supposed to prevent.

Hello, just now on the tv here there was a special report that the CDC will issue a national emergency. It was short but they said tonight full report would be broadcast.......they said the vaccine "Tamiflu" would begin to be used........they were showing a map with about 8 states US highlighted from coast to coast........kinda spooks me out. I guess I have to wait to hear more, I can't find the CDC National Emergency issue on the net. Anyone else see this on tv?, we only get 2 stations here....creepy stuff on the tv and even creepier, Tamiflu.

ETA, I have looked and looked, even the cdc site and can't find any updated info.......maybe just the media flexing it's magic muscles....Mappy shrugg's his shoulders.
