Recently began what I think will be an online Dream Journal of sorts, a blog dedicated to my personal experiences as well as the accounts and beliefs of others. Not to mention dreams in literature, film, music, and their cultural impact on society in general.

Ok, I posted this somewhere else, because I am new to this forum. And someone referred me to this forum so I will
repeat the dream I have been having over and over again. Playing the same way every time!

What is so distrurbing about these dreams is that how real it seems, right down to the feeling of intense heat, the horrible smell of flesh burning off the bone, the smell of hair burning. The explosions in vivid color I see. Not recognizing anyone around me no family or friends all strangers that seem like shadows behind me looking out of this cave we are in. You hear screaming, and crying, people begging to God for mercy. It is horrible. And oh the aircraft in the sky it seems to be of this era, modern not any thing that looks like our past. Or past conflict. What is bugging me ,(besides lack of sleep)is the fact I am worried this is something that is going to happen here in the US! And it terrifies me. It must be significant because I have never had a dream this long or this intense. The sky was also like their had been an eruption of some sort. Because it was extremely red like a volcano, no mountains I could see though. I just need some insight into this about what this may mean. I am just a normal person looking for answers to this horrific nightmare that does not seem to end! I am desperate. I hope some sees this and tells me something useful. to give some perspective on what I am seeing. Because I am truly afraid to go to sleep! Please....

I am not qualified to analize your dream, but I can suggest, the herb Valerian will help your body relax for sleep and the bachflower remedy white chestnut. to help your mind relax also. steer clear of stimulants like caffine and sugar late in the day, and heavy meals late at night will also disturb sleep. I have been on nicotine patches and they have given me some shitty nightmares but nothing like your experiencing I sympathize with you, and I am sure a more qualified member or moderator will be able to advise you further, be patient they will get to you....
they are generally a very caring bunch...
