I wasn't sure where to post it so I thought maybe it should go under science. I was amazed by this robot, look at all the different kinds of terrain it can walk on and how it can recover and balance when it runs into obsticals. It can accurately jump too.
Technology gets better every day its starting to scare me
Do you think it had to learn that or did they program it somehow?

Sorry I didn't post when you came back, been a bit hectic.
Great video, but definitely programmed. We can simulate movement, and learning, but imo that's all we'll ever be able to do, create better simulations. You might be interested in this I wrote recently..

Interesting article Thoth, and I think your right, there are some things we just wont be able to program or or figure out about ourselves, especially as long as we focus on bashing heads with others whos views are different than ours, we need to open up and learn.
