In the article it mentions that in the past Ice sheets have been know to shrink within a few hundred years.
Does anyone know when the ice sheets started to shrink? Has it been going on for a long time, and just now in the past few years started to shrink really fast?
If that is tha case, then our ice sheets were huge, and our 'few hundred years' is almost up?
