If anyone celebrates the Fourth with a fifth, please don't drive.
I want you to be safe.

Bubba, I had to stand up and salute the two current flags of my true home, the great state of Texas.

I cannot and will not celebrate a country which was founded on an experiment. The US, for all it stands for is not a democracy, it is a Republic; much the same way Rome was a republic. It is based on European and maritime laws which in and of itself is a farce. It is controlled by outside forces and it's representives in congress, the senate and local legislatives are mere pawns in an "end game" meant to dissolve "true democracy" into a global conglomeration in which people have no rights.
It was founded on the backs of slaves, Native Americans, indentured servitude and such, which continues today. It represents expansionism in which control is the end agenda. Ironically, as in Rome, it's ultimate leader is elected not by the people but by an electoral college. It fosters wars, the take over of sovereign countries and advocates for illegal holdings by other countries, which come into being by the mere force/threat of its power. It has succeeded in destabilizing its citizen without any accountability. It provides for the UN to usurp its Constitution and Bill of Rights in the name of Globalization and a NWO thereby rendering its citizens under foreign rule, which they originally fought against. The 4th of July like all else the US represents is simply an illusion. Maybe, when the sheeple wake up and realize they are controlled and not free----True freedom will ring once again as it was meant to be… when the people revolt against the tyranny they are inflicted by. , WHICH PILL HAVE YOU TAKEN....................Or does the truth hurt?

I think this thread was started for the ones that wanted to celebrate.
What do you mean by "which pill have you taken?" Please clarify.
I take great offence to your post when the spirit of Bubba's post was simply to
invite others to join him in celebration of the birth of America, not a post designed
to initiate more bashing of America. Such post as yours would be better located in
Politics and Government.
Respectfully submitted for your consideration.

Ok---God Bless the Alamo-----Let freedom ring!
BTW: That was not a political statement; Merely a divergent perspective. Such is the aperture we take when posting.

Hello MrsBubbaEarl,
The "which pill" reference is from the Matrix movies...I believe Mr. Earl can explain it to you.
May you both have a happy and joyful 4th of July.

Too late Mensa, the damage has been done. You have insulted some really good people who posted prior to you.
To those people I apologize for starting a thread which allowed such.
(Bubba leans back and thinks he apologizes too much lately.)

But Mensa, I don't think Plato was referring to you.
You are one of the reasons I don't post much. I'm always afraid
of having a post I make open a door for insults. Always a spoil sport in the crowd.

You are not a pariah mensa just another person to show extremely poor judgement against people whom you may consider friends.. Say what you want about divergent perspective, what it really amounts to is shoving your views down the throat of people who understand better than you ever could what it means to be an American.. You don't need to inform us of who we are, we know.. Save us the petulant postering and the standing on moral ground routine, what you've done is come into a thread of people simply trying to celebrate something personal to them and cause chaos for the sake of causing chaos.. Poor form old boy...

Invite as many as you wish. We have plenty of BBQ ribs, 'tater salad, cake , ice cream, cantaloupe, watermelon, iced tea, cokes, and beer. We also have plenty of Margarita mix for those who want to give a toast to Mrs. Earl, me, America and Texas. Or anything they feel like toasting. Such as the color of their socks, their new 4 wheeler, or any old thing that comes to mind.

Bubba, I notice that they are celebrating your and Mrs. Earl's anniversary in Boston tonight with a concert by the Boston Pops and a gigantic fire works display.

Oh yeah Poppy, that happens every year. Our anniversary is celebrated all over the United States on July 4rth. Mrs. Earl and I think that is really nice of everyone. The event is even televised on the major channels here.
The kids in our neighborhood even set off fire crackers for us.

Ah dear Dawn thank you for the invite but me thinks that the last thing Bubs and Mrs. Earl want is a lunatic running around wearing a tasteless shirt hitting on all the Earl girls... What can I say I would love to attend but the sane side of me thinks that getting chased out of town with a shot gun isn't the kind of fireworks I had in mind for the 4th of July..
