 Is this the ghost of Mrs. Winchester of the Winchester House?I toured the Winchester House in San Jose last year and snapped this picture out the window at the garden below, for no reason I can think of. After I took the picture, the guide told us that the ghost had been reported seen in the garden. Mrs. Winchester was the widow of the man who invented the repeaters used in the civil war and to settle the west, she was told when he passed, that if she didn't stop adding onto her house, that dead soldiers would haunt her. They give tour of her house now, she did all kinds of crazy things to thwart the ghosts. Do you see the figure of a small woman in between the shrubbery in the garden?highempress
