Astromancy

Astromancy (from Greek αστρολογία = άστρον, astron, "star" + English suffix, -mancy, "divination by", derived from Greek μαντεία, manteía, "divination") is a form of fortune-telling derived from the practice of astrology. Astromancy and astrology are often mistaken as synonymous terms, however, astrology focusses on identifying potentials and trends which the subject may choose to either promote or discourage, whereas astromancy contends to predict definitive events.
