Stanley Hilton

From The Book of THoTH (Leaves of Wisdom)

Stanley G. Hilton is a San Francisco, California, based attorney, political scientist, and former chief of staff for Bob Dole. Hilton gained notoriety and condemnation as a 'conspiracy theorist' for filing a $7 billion class action lawsuit, in 2002, against United States President George W. Bush, members of his administration (including Condoleezza Rice, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld) and others. The lawsuit supposedly had 400 plaintiffs including 14 families of 9/11 victims, with only two named plaintiffs.

The lawsuit alleged Bush administration complicity in allowing the September 11, 2001 attacks. The case was thrown out of federal court over two years later, the judge ruling that US citizens do not have any right to sue a sitting President, based on the 'Doctrine of Sovereign Immunity'.

Education and early life

Hilton graduated from Lowell High School in San Francisco in 1967, where in Spring 1966 he set an all time school record for the highest grades and the most units (straight A's, 25 units, including three Advanced College Placement classes). He attended University of Chicago as a physics major because that was the site where "man first invented the atomic bomb and sustained a nuclear chain reaction behind the stands at Amos Alonzo Stagg Stadium, in the Manhattan Project, on December 2, 1942." A former theoretical and nuclear physicist, Dr. Hilton wrote his senior thesis at University of Chicago, entitled How to create a Presidential Dictatorship under Pretense of National Emergency, about how the American government could use phantom or intentional terrorist attacks and become a military state, with martial law.

Hilton has personally known top Bush administration officials for decades, including Douglas Feith and Paul Wolfowitz. He graduated Chicago Magna Cum Laude in 1971. H attended a year of graduate school in Political Science at University of Chicago (1971-72) in the PhD Program, and published a thesis entitled, "The Case for Atomic War as a Vehicle to World Domination."

Hilton went to Duke Law School, (JD 1975) because his hero Richard Nixon also went there (JD 1937) and to Harvard Business School (MBA 1979) because another hero, JFK, also went to Harvard (BA 1940). At Harvard Business School he was a classmate of future Ebay CEO Meg Whitman. He also attended JFK School of Government at Harvard in 1984-85 and Oxford University in 1970, where he studied at the Ashmolean Museum "in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia." At Oxford he was a friend of future US President Bill Clinton.

Background

Known as 'Le Docteur' ("The Doctor") in Northern California, where he has been active as a political gadfly and dilletante since the late 1970s. Hilton ran as a candidate-manque for the Hillsborough, California school board in the November, 2005 election, running on a unique platform to build a new local public high school in Hillsborough (the wealthy town has none, as most students attend private schools) and condemning the political establishment for allowing property taxes to be wasted on 'inferior' public high schools in cities such as Pacifica, Daly City and East Palo Alto, where drugs and guns are more common than pencils and pens, and which are little better than armed camps." He is a Democrat and ex-Republican. He worked for former US Senator Bob Dole (R-KS) as a Senate Minority Counsel and top aide in Washington, D.C. in 1979-1980 and for California State Senator Dan O'Keefe in California in 1980-1981. He served as alternate delegate to San Mateo County (Calif.) Democratic Central Committee, 2002-2005.

Hilton is also an author, and has written four books published nationally, including an unauthorized biography.

Glass Houses (1998), about congressional sex scandals; and To Pay or Not to Pay (2003).

He is a leader in the anti-debt movement in America, representing scores of debtors unhappy with usorious interest rates and fast and loose collection practices by creditors. He has pioneered a new legal theory of using the courts to defend oneself against creditors, by aggressive litigation, as an alternative to bankruptcy.

Hilton taught political science as an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University, in San Francisco from 1991 to 1996, and tutored Harvard students in 1978-79.

Hilton also had a strong scholarly interest in Adolf Hitler and interviewed Albert Speer in Germany in August 1981. He was the last person to interview Speer, the former German Armaments Minister in World War II. The inteview was noteworthy for Speer's striking comparison of Hitler to Ronald Reagan. Speer died in London just 12 days after this interview, after agreeing to collaborate with Hilton in writing a future book comparing the USA to Nazi Germany and the Republican party to the Nazi Party.

In recent years Dr. Hilton has promoted Animal Rights and maintained that animals have legal standing to sue in court. He has called for the banning of all meat products and an end to the "Holocaust of Euthanasia." He is also a fanatical anti-smoker and has demanded that the government ban all sales of tobacco products and ban all smoking, in public as well as in private. He is credited with having single-handedly gotten smoking banned from the classroom of Duke University (1974), the famous school founded on the tobacco fortune of the Duke family.

9/11 class action suit

On May 22, 2002, Hilton sued Bush and members of his administration. The lawsuit specifically "allege that defendants, in conspiracy with the government of Saudi Arabia, orchestrated the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon in order to gather public support for the military invasion of Iraq and persuade Congress to enact the U.S.A. Patriot Acts."

  • name="lawsuit">Taxpayers of United States v. Bush, 2004 U.S. Dist., No. C03-03927 SI

It also alleges violations of the Fraudulent Claims Act, 31 U.S.C. ยง 3729, by presenting false claims to Congress about the weapons capability of Iraq and the ties between the government of Iraq and Al Qaeda in order to divert federal taxpayer funds to the military campaign against Iraq.", and for violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act, asserting that the Iraq War was a cover for generating income for defendants and for Halliburton and Bechtel.

The lawsuit supposedly included 400 unnamed plaintiffs, with four plaintiffs that were actually named including Abel Ashes, Scott Munson, Ralph Tibbs, and Stanley Hilton, himself. The claim of 400 unnamed 9/11 victim's family member plaintiffs was repeated by Hilton and others for over two years. In 2004 the number of 9/11 family members was inexplicably reduced to "40" and Hilton claimed that he "never said" there were 400 plaintiffs when in fact he is on the record for having said just that in an interview with radio host Alex Jones in 2003. The individual plaintiffs allege violations of their constitutional rights, under the USA Patriot Act. The lawsuit alledges that Scott Munson was prevented by federal park rangers from distributing anti-war literature at Baker Beach in San Francisco, while Abel Ashes was assaulted and falsely arrested by security guards, then fired from his job at Neiman Marcus for giving a friend and co-worker a copy of a docmentary video on 9/11 entitled, "Masters of Terror" by Texas based radio host Alex Jones, and Ralph Tibbs alleged that his veteran pension payment was reduced due to military expenditures. However, Scott Munson alleged that he was added as a plaintiff without consent and was removed as plaintiff. Abel Ashes and Stanley Hilton have both alleged that Scott Munson requested to be added as a plaintiff in a personal meeting between the three of them in Hilton's downtown San Francisco office.

Hilton says he has possession of incriminating documents showing Bush personally ordered the events that took place on 9/11. {{fix |link=Wikipedia:Citation needed |text=citation needed |class=noprint Template-Fact |title=This claim needs references to reliable sources |date={{{date|}}} |cat= |cat-date=Category:Articles with unsourced statements}}{{#switch:|Template:-0|Template|Talk={{#if:{{{date|}}}|{{#ifexist:Category:Articles with unsourced statements since {{{date}}}||}}|}}}} In a September 10, 2004 interview with Alex Jones, Hilton said, "This (9/11) was all planned. This was a government-ordered operation. Bush personally signed the order. He personally authorized the attacks. He is guilty of treason and mass murder." Hilton points to how Project for the New American Century (PNAC) laid out rationale for why a new Pearl Harbor was needed. Hilton alleges the hijackers' landlord, in San Diego, California, was an FBI informant and the hijacked planes were controlled by remote control, using a technology called the Global Hawk.

One critical analysis of Hilton's case points out three concerns:

  • that Hilton's class action suit does not include any people who were either injured or lost loved ones in the attack, only plantiffs who were harassed for distributing literature in California.
  • that Hilton's complaint names officials in the Bush administration who had alibis, and leaves off others who did not.
  • that Hilton's complaint, as published on the internet, includes allegations that remote control technology was employed, and in other versions, that missiles were used on September 11, 2001.

Wargame drill allegations

Hilton alleges an inordinate number of 'wargames', 35 over the two months or so before September 11th, were engaged in by the US military leading up to 9/11, with five separate drills of flying hijacked jets into buildings that morning, including "one drill with the exact same thing happening that actually happened, at the exact same time in the morning." Hilton alleges the reason Bush appeared uninterested and nonchalant on 9/11, when Andrew Card whispered in his ear about it, is that he thought it was just another rehearsal.

Alleged harassment and criticism

Hilton alleges he has been harassed and threated with disciplinary action by a coterie of political federal judges, whose assistants on a committee of the court met with him on July 1st, 2004, in Palo Alto, California, threatening him directly with disbarment and demanding that he drop his suit against Bush over 911. Hilton describes such acts as not merely obstruction of justice, but "Nazi Germany storm trooper tactics."

Another more recent example of Republican Establishment judges blackballing Hilton includes another Bush-appointed federal judge in San Francisco, who made the outrageous charge in 2006 that Hilton's name had been surreptitiously removed from the roll of attorneys of the San Francisco federal court bar of attorneys. In fact, Hilton has been a member of the court bar since 1975, but this makes no difference to political appointees who seek to promote George Bush's policies via the courts, and who seek to silence all critics of the Party Line. This outrageous charge, that Hilton was not a real lawyer, like the similar one in 2004, was intended to retaliate against Hilton for expressing his political views against GOP leader Bush et al., and Bush's father, who appointed judges like this one to the bench as their political myrmodons and minions.

Hilton has condemned "political appointee judges" in general, and has castigated the US judicial system as a "thinly disguised political puppet show where Truth is often a well-concealed Lie." He has also condemned the American court jury system as "involuntary servitude in violation of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution," and has called for an end to a legal system based on "shanghaieing reluctant jurors to perform legal brain surgery with no legal training," and has urged the creation of a new type of legal system in which professional jurors and computers thoroughly replace the "army of political judges masquerading as neutral and fair arbiters." Hilton has stated that "computers operating on the binary Boolean system would make far better and fairer judges than the clique of mediocre political appointees who now sit on the bench." He has feuded with Bench and Bar over these ideas, and has attacked the US judicial system as "the most corrupt and incompetent legal system in the history of the Universe." He has characterized most judges as "political hacks appointed by politicians with Marching Orders to carry out their political agendas under the guise of a Rule of Law."

Hilton has also feuded with others who allege Bush administration culpability in the events of 9/11, including Michael Ruppert. Others insist Hilton should stop playing games and finally release to the public his purported documents evidencing Bush administration complicity to 9/11 victim family members. Dr. Hilton has condemned Ruppert as a political fraud and Republican Bush Puppet, and a GOP Trojan Horse and Egotist, who routinely belittles anyone critical of his boss, Bush.

Recognition

Hilton has been listed as a biographee in Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the West; Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in American Finance and Industry, and in Contemporary Authors.

Perspective

Hilton admires only a handful of political leaders, such as Abraham Lincoln, Napoleon Bonaparte, George Custer, Davy Crockett. The rest are "political puppets and pygmies of the Establishment, who appoint incompetent and venal political judges who pose as fair arbiters while peremptorily promulgating right wing political agendas disguised as whitewashed judicial opinions."

Quote

"Our case is alleging that Bush and his puppets Rice and Cheney and Mueller and Rumsfeld and so forth, Tenet, were all involved not only in aiding and abetting and allowing 9/11 to happen but in actually ordering it to happen. Bush personally ordered it to happen. We have some very incriminating documents as well as eye-witnesses, that Bush personally ordered this event to happen in order to gain political advantage, to pursue a bogus political agenda on behalf of the neocons and their deluded thinking in the Middle East."[1] Stanley Hilton (September 10, 2004)
