In the latest installment of the Book of THoTH podcast, Jeremy Vaeni spends some quality time picking the brain of Lloyd Pye. For those who don't know, Lloyd Pye is an author of multiple books, fiction and non-fiction, and the holder of the Starchild skull.
The nearly hour long discussion touches on many topics, and primarily focuses on the Starchild skull provenance, testing and mythology. However, they begin with a particularly grizzly discussion of the details of the one and only Bigfoot Lloyd says to have ever seen; The Minnesota Iceman body. He explains exactly why he believes it was a real cryptid, along with some very precise details of the state of the body when he saw it.

Hello, I just thought I'd write up a smallish article about 2007 and some thoughts for 2008. This is all related to The Book of THoTH website, and those who run it and those who visit it. It is also a little about myself, my thoughts and what I'd like for the New Year. No doubt I'll forget something, or someone in which case I apologise in advance.
I hope you read this with an open mind and heart, then clear your mind and prepare for the New Year ahead and hopefully being a part of The Book of THoTH Community.

A real treat for UFO fans for this podcast. None other than Stanton Friedman himself speaking to our own Jeremy Vaeni. They discuss a new book written by Stanton and Kathleen Marden called "Captured". The Betty and Barney Hill case which is the subject of the book, was the first really publicised abduction case, taking place in 1961. Stanton discusses many aspects of this fascinating case, and goes into a lot of detail about the research that followed.
Also discussed are the ridiculous claims of the debunkers, Stanton has a great article called "The UFO Why Questions". This responds to all the usual nonsense form of questioning, that most of the vocal opponents to UFO reality shout from their armchairs. Well worth a read. This is a special Podcast, dedicated to my Father who died recently. Jeremy the interviewer, very kindly announces this at the beginning of the Podcast.

Death Be Not Proud - Tho Thou art called Mighty
I was going to write a poem of sorts in memory of my father, who yesterday passed into the next realm. I can't do that, for what reason I don't know, so I will instead put thoughts to words here.
Seventy Four years you walked the earth,
Changing lives everywhere you went.
You may not have noticed that, it's subtle but it was there.
You cheered many when they were down.
Helped in any way you could for those less fortunate than yourself.
In many ways a real Saint of this age.
Your work was hard, extremely tough, and agonising toward the end.
Yet you did not ever, not once think to give in.

This week in the Book of THoTH podcast Jeremy Vaeni welcomes Red Moon co-author and Book of Thoth Forums adopted son, author and blogger Daniel Brenton to the program. Daniel's got a new semi-fictional, speculative, sci-fi book out, "Red Moon" and so the two of them spend...no time at all talking about it.
So what do they talk about? Daniel speaks candidly about his out-of-body experiences, spirituality, and what it is that brings him into the world of ufology in this, the most conversational episode yet!

In this episode, author Gary David explores Hopi culture & cosmology in a new way that mysteriously links them with Hindus, ancient Egyptians, and Tibetans. Could the ties that bind be extraterrestrial? Also, what, if anything, do the Hopi have to say about 2012 and the coming of a new age?
We find out on this, the fourth episode of Book Of THoTH!
Gary David and Jeremy had a far ranging discussion for about half an hour that covered all of that and even more, including Gary's upcoming book "Eye of the Phoenix" which promises even more ancient connections. Gary's research seems to be able to tie cultures from around the world together in the past, and then link that to what might be in store for all of us in the future. This is certainly a podcast you won't want to miss out on listening to.
