Written by Dolphin People are awed and excited when they catch a glimpse of something that they can actually call a UFO. If they are lucky enough to have a camera along, they sometimes remember to take pictures through the haze of excitement. For those lucky enough to have some sort of video camera along, you can hear in their voice the joy and amazement that can only be compared to winning the state lottery! Seems that only later when they actually view what they have caught on film do they begin to have a bit of caution and maybe even feel a bit of fear.
I have been asked often what I thought of all the UFO sightings. People don't usually care for my answer, nor do they seem to listen much further than my opening thoughts. The first part of my answer to folks is that I don't really care about UFOs. That is where I lose folks. The important thing to me is who or what is sending those UFOs, not the fact that they are out there. I figure if they are sending a pilot along, instead of some auto-pilot situation, that pilot is dispensable. Most everyone will admit that there is at least a possibility of UFOs existing by now, even if some only think it in the deepest, most hidden, regions of their thoughts. But as far as I can tell, nobody thinks beyond the UFO itself.

My contribution to this season may seem a bit sad or dreary. To me it isn't. This season of the year always reminds me of the end of another chapter, and the beginning of a brand new one. Please don't feel sad at the events that happened. Join me in rejoicing a new beginning.
Well, I am back with a new story after my long rest at sea. I have thought a lot about where to go next and decided to continue the story that started with "The Death Roll". Yep.....it was just the beginning. If you would like to read the story, please click on read more below.

I remember when I was a very young child, maybe 3 or 4 years old, I discovered the joys of climbing as high as possible in an old silver leaf maple tree in our backyard. It was a place of peace and aloneness. I loved being alone. I would sit in that tree just watching the sky until my parents made me come out of the tree. Mostly there were just clouds and birds. Sometimes there were just thoughts of other worlds and other beings. Not something that most young children do.
I guess the time to myself gave me time to work on something that I do believe is called telekinesis. I started out making the leaves of the tree move the way they did on windy days. Of course, it only started with a leaf or two. Took a long time to get the tree to let me work with large sections of leaves. It was a grand old tree.
I later played with the flames of candles. I would light a row of candles and put on some music that I really enjoyed. Then I would make the flames dance with the music in my soul. I would dance with the music in my mind and the flames would move with me. I didn't learn until many years later that this was not something that everyone did.

I was thinking back to an incident that happened when I was in college and decided to post it for my next story. I will admit that college was a crazy time in general. But this incident was really pretty insane!
I didn't really understand college or what I was doing there for some time. Different religious groups set up buildings just off campus where students could hang with likeminded students in a "good" atmosphere. It was pretty good for students like me who did not have a clue what college life was all about. What I have learned is that not all folks who hang at those places are likeminded. Some are pretty strange, even when compared to paranormal folks like me.

For those of you who have not read "The Fire", it gives some background into an actual accounting of the relationship between my father and myself in regards to this psychic stuff I have to deal with in myself. As a bit of a recap in case you don't want to spend the time reading the whole story, my father owned a big auto parts store in the town where I grew up. It burned as per my prediction to him during my senior year in high school.
To set the stage for what happened next, I'll just say that my dad was too old at that point to start over. The insurance on the auto parts store was not enough to rebuild the place, and the structure itself would not pass inspection due to the damage to the firewall. So my dad had to go out and work for someone else after having been gainfully self-employed for many years. I did not understand the pride in ownership of one's own business the way I do now. What I did know was that things changed for us at that point in time.

The USCGC Blackthorn was an event in my paranormal life that upped the learning curve drastically for me. This was an inanimate object with a voice. The Blackthorn was a bouy tender stationed at Galveston, Texas when I met her. I say "met her" because this lady of the sea had a very energetic voice.
She went down as she was leaving Tampa, Florida, on January 28, 1980, taking my brother-in-law with her. She collided with the Capricorn, a tanker, and was torn open by the anchor of the incoming Capricorn. Due to human error, this ship felt the pain of a death roll, taking 23 men with her. This was not how she wished her time to end as she had spent time doing rescues. It was what she enjoyed most.
Now while she did try to issue a warning, folks just weren't really in the frame of mind to listen to a ship or to me when I tried to pass her message along. To read her story, please click read more below.

There was a time when I was in my later years of high school when a certain part of this ozone (paranormal) stuff hit in ever changing ways. It seemed my inner self was reaching out beyond the little world that was me into the wider world that was around me. Sort of a "let the force be with you" kind of era.
A good friend and I had been writing poetry together for a couple of years...sharing those deepest emotions that teenage girls have through our words of poetry. We shared everything with each other, so I figured when this new time in my life hit that it was only normal that it would also be shared.
I guess I have to say that I really missed on that one. When I shared the following things with her, she jumped on that boat with the other folks who thought psychic phenomena had no place in West Texas.

I have to say that growing up in a small, out of the mainstream, religious community makes for some interesting tales. Now we did have black and white television when I was a child. Our reception was based on an outdoor antennae. We got 3 channels when the wind and sand was not blowing too bad. Otherwise, we turned down the sound, sat in front of the tv, and watched "snow", and thought how marvelous that was.
I remember shows like "Roy Rogers" and "Have Gun Will Travel" as being perfectly acceptable since I was riding horses and doing target shooting with a 22 calibre rifle by the time I was 5 years old.
During that time, the original "Superman" was broadcast. That was one of those shows that we had to watch on the sly, because a flying alien living on earth bordered on sacreligious. Remember, this is the Bible belt.
I was pretty much a loner as a child, because I was psychic from day one on this rock. Since I was "different", my parents tried desperately to make me what their other adopted child was like.... a normal little human offspring. I don't think it worked though.
